People get burned out because for some reason they expect every Direct to be a conference with new games/megatons.
When in reality most Directs are just video based press releases.

Sure, 9/10 Directs might fail to meet expectations (which is understandable), but there is always that one that meets/exceeds the hype, so I can't help but get hyped every time, thinking that this may be one of those ones.

Actually, Nintendo hasn't officially announced it, it's just NoA who has sent some PR mail to the press (kinda surprising, I mean a PR mail at 1AM on a Monday morning? I suspect that mail wasn't supposed to be sent just yet).
The official announcement will come in exactly 2 hours!

3DS - AA5 demonstration (with the announcement that the demo will be on the 3DS eShop very soon); Bravely Default release date; Zelda: ALBT release date; brief mention of Pokemon; SMT IV 2014 announcement at the end as a tease. I don't think PLvsAA will be there. Doubt we'll see anything about any 3DS system update or account system.
Wii U - SM3DW, & DKCTF release dates. Sonic Lost World demo announcement. Some info on eShop downloadable games (like Ittle Dew, which is coming at some point in the next month or two afaik). SMTxFE info + 2014 PAL release announcement (will tie in with the SMT IV 3DS announcement). Also get info on the upcoming Wii U system update.

-Super Mario 3D World new footage/information: We've been arguing about bland/not-bland this game looks for months now with the same old footage. I'd like to see some new things we can complain about and keep it fresh until Nov.22.
-Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze new footage/information: I want it, and I want it this year. If there's a Europe delay, I will lol @ Nocturnowl forever. Also, maybe tell us about that Cranky Kong unlockable character
-Link Between Worlds new footage/information: Has a high chance of being the best Zelda Nintendo has released in 20 years. I'd like to see more of it now.
What this will actually be:
-Wind Waker HD: Because it's not technically out yet physically, even though everyone in the known universe interested in this game is fully aware of everything there is to know about Wind Waker HD at this point.
-Wii motion control casual junk: I forget what they're calling it this year, Wii Party U something or other. They'll be 10 minutes of that.
-DKCTF will be delayed to 2014.
-Pokemon, pokemon, pokemon. Surprise, it plays a lot like the last 20 games but with new 3D colors, you will say wow
-Announcement of the cancellation of Kamiya's Star Fox because of Smash/Star Fox idiots. Also, Bayonetta 2 is the last P* game because Wii U owners don't buy non-Nintendo developed games.
-Iwata has absorbed all of Hiroshi Yamauchi's spirit energy and shares, confirms the rumors that he consumed Sakomoto's soul(along with Metroidvania director Iga), and has been promoted to God King of Nintendo, where his seat is never hot. 4(00) more years!
