New Nintendo Direct Tomorrow [WiiU/3DS, games releasing later this year]

Kinda OT, but can someone do like a big post somewhere about everything we know about Shin'en's WiiU project? I'm really curious.
 
Not really about the direct, but thought I'd post here anyway: the eShop music is different for me tonight. Anyone know what this is about? I've visited the eShop loads before but never heard this tune.
 
With the early notice to the media, this is either a big direct or rather important or both.

With detailing the Wii System update and previewing the rest of the years lineup which we know little about (Mario), it is probably going to be long.
 
Something is going on with NNID's. The other day I went to sign in to miiverse via web and when I typed in miiverse.nintendo.net , I was redirected to id.nintendo.net instead.

It might not be what we all want (unified accounts) but I think NNID's will get a mention of sorts.

It's not quite the same in this case, though. For pretty much the entire last generation, Nintendo always had a huge "Fall Event" (or in recent years Direct), where they made a lot of exciting announcements. Apparently, however, they seem to skip it this year and focus on the games for the rest of the year instead. That's pretty disappointing.
 
I hope for news on more early digital releases.

This is going to be a big Direct because it HAS to be. Wii U's poor sales plus the upcoming holiday season means this is an important one for Nintendo. Can't wait :)
 
Wonder if the two new Shin'en projects will be revealed on the NoE stream tomorrow. Shin'en did say the announcements would happen this fall.

EDIT: Apparently not. Oh well...

Lumyst, remember the last one, it's just like a press release, only about WiiU/3DS games releasing this year, 3DWorld, LbtW, Lost World, Mario costume for Aiden and Luigi hat for Black Flag Guy...
 
Nintendo, I want to be hyped about the upcoming lineup. Please give me appropriate hype fuel. It's been since E3. Here is a list of what I would like, please and thank you:

- SM3DW Trailer that shows a new world
- DKCTF Trailer that tells me the game isn't delayed
- MK8 Trailer that reveals the game has been moved to Holiday 2013
- X Trailer that shows me pretty much anything
- Smash Bros. Trailer even though it's not coming 2013, but goddamn just throw me a bone here.
- LaytonXWright Trailer in English
- Surprise 1st Party 3DS game announcement
- eShop things
- Pokemon X/Y Overview Trailer because no more spoilers please
- Pokemon on Wii U in some form

That is all.
 
Give me some WiiU love Ninetendo, and not just be a Pokemon X & Y love-fest.

...ready for disappointment.
 
N64 VC update (Mario 64 to coincide with 3D World in November?)

Firmware update for Wii U (delayed from summer)

Trailers and new details for 3D World, DKC, Link Between Worlds, Pokemon, Wii Party U, and Mario Party Island or whatever it's called
 
So this is almost definitely involving the "summer" update considering Emily Rogers expected an update today, and I can't see them rolling it out before an ND. Not hyped, but curious.
 
I can't wait for Nintendo to dedicate their 2013 Wii U and 3DS line-up Direct to games for 2014.
 
Big directs are not the way to improve holiday sales, so I don't think it'll be overly big. Hope for more and better ads to improve sales, though.

But yesterday for the first time i saw the Eshop icon "glowing" to show there´s new stuff (like the miiverse icon does)

Maybe it was always there, but i never noticed it before.
