Three of the saddest moments I had in gaming.
And I have been owning consoles since the Atari 2600.

Apparently, however, they seem to skip it this year and focus on the games for the rest of the year instead. That's pretty disappointing.

But there was no Fall conference last year either (unless you take into account the Wii U Conference, but that was a bit special since it was Wii U launch year).

Favorite gif of directs, I hope we get some Miiverse for 3DS news, maybe they will announce the date for the system updates too.

Though that's like saying herpes is a step up from gonorrhoea.

Anyways, maybe there'll be a surprise, who knows. Still waiting for a reason to get a Wii U.

This. From what I seen on GAF, Nintendo will most likely see a large increase in the digital content purchases if they get this right. Lets hope

Because of the amazing feedback we got from our fans, we decided to allow Retro to focus on other titles and because of that DKCR will not be released this year. We will let you know the exact date when we get closer to it. Please, understand. And now, take a look at this trailer.

I'll make my one out there prediction- Xenoblade HD announced, December in Japan, early 2014 in the West.

I would die for such an announcement! I haven't played Xenoblade and can't find a retail copy of the game in Canada :( It would be glorious in HD.
 
I am happy with the games coming out for the rest of the year. I just want to know about that damn update.

The announced games coming out for the rest of the year will keep me busy well in to next year.

This update better be great. Get a freaking UX designer damn it.
 
Was it February that we had the amazing direct with X and other promising games?

that was the last time I was excited about owning a Wii U

Hmm.... nope. Same old music. Maintenance won't be before a few hours, so if there's change, we won't hear it until it's over.
 
Would personally like to see some more of 3D land and maybe even a few more Gamecube HD remakes if that's all we can have for the time being.

Would love to pick a Wii U up eventually, Nintendo just haven't given any real reasons to do so - I suspect a new Zelda adventure will be the catalyst, but that's probably going to be released in 2015/16.
 
Callng character announcement for Smash bros, maybe even a video to go along with it. other then that probably just review some of the games that are coming out this year like they said, would like to see more info on Mario 3d Land and Pokemon(doubt Pokemon info will happen though)

Probably the right platform to port the game to. With so many Mario games recently on Wii U, it seems natural. Not to mention that Mario 64 was on DS and there's also Wind Waker that was brought to Wii U, which would make a better image to choose another platform for another Game Cube game.

I wouldn't mind a sequel either, although to be fair there's not a crazy amount of content that could be made for the Sunshine concept. I think additional levels would work on a port/tweaked up version.

Yeah, seeing that they decided to make a Wii U port of Wind Waker instead of an obvious more suitable 3DS port, I guess you are right.

I want Majora's Mask 3DS too, but if they are 'remaking' it, we won't really get an announcement before the release of ALBW.

I'm satisfied with The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD and Super Mario 3D World, but one or two surprises (and a megaton maybe) would be nice.

Yes you are correct.This is also the one where they also announce, F-Zero U, Wave Race U, Pokemon Snap U and Zombi U 2.

I can't wait for this direct. Those games are going to be awesome next year.
 
The latest Nintendo World Report podcast "Connectivity" mentioned that an embargo was suppose to end tomorrow regarding an upcoming game. They didn't say which game but from what I remember it sounded like it could be a Wii U game. Something gaming sites clearly already know about. So it could be a game already announced or perhaps something brand new. Chances are we'll hear more about in the Direct.

Putting money on Super Mario 3D World myself if it's not a new announcement. Seems like the safest bet.

Yep, you're right and they will probably announce a 3DS release after the new Zelda 3DS title.

Sunshine on the Wii U would be pretty good - changing FLUDD on the go, or even spraying water using the controller.
 
DQX and DQ7 to the West would be swell. Otherwise, yes... more Wii HD collections (Xenoblade, etc.) and Wii U games would tickle my fancy in ways that it has not been tickled for some time.
