Pokemon X and Y Leaks, Releases Early

Wild Furfrou just used an attack that lowered Attack and paralysed. Sounds like a pain.

EDIT: Used it again. Lowered attack didn't paralyse. (so chance of paralysis)

Who decided on this list? :p Among friends and customers, I've almost always seen this instead:

Kanto: Blastoise
Johto: Cyndaquil evo (I went with Feraligatr for sure)
Hoenn: Blaziken (I'll give you that one)
Sinnoh: Torterra
Unova: Emboar
 
If it makes any of you y players feel any better if i can get a charzarnite x (or w/e its called), i'm starting with bulbasaur so idk if i would be able to still get it. Quote me on that and also quote me on the quitting thing just in case i post in the new mainline pokemon game reveal
 
I don't know, when I'm playing a new generation of Pokemon I'm mainly playing for the new Pokemon, not the ones I've used before. Plus, the distribution at the start of the game doesn't look the best anyway.
 
That 70 pokemon thing has yet to be confirmed guys. We still have yet to see the back half of the game. And it makes little sense for GF to have revealed over half of the new pokemon.

What? Marketing and fanwise Chikorita and Bayleef were pushed heavily. Personally I think all the final forms suck and I was never keen on the grass line.
 
It would make sense if GF just decided that at some point no new Pokemon will be created, because of the sheer amount of Pokemon already out there. That would destroy like half the fun of Pokemon though so I doubt it.

Companies have blown their load on games before. I wouldn't put it past them completely.

GF doesn't do this though, they always let most of the Pokemon be a surprise. I really hope most of the new Pokemon are mid-late game.
 
Day 1 Torchic distribution is still a thing, right? How awesome. It'll be possible to have Gen I, III and VI starters early in the game and have all three types too!

I wouldn't mind 70 Pokemon at all. I'm not a conservative 1st-gen-Pokemon-only-please or anything, but there has to be a limit somewhere. Plus, there's a crazy amount of content.
 
Exp Share so early is freaking amazing. I just wonder if it still gives EV's even though it's not a hold item. I would think they'd limit it to only the PKMN participating in battle but can't be certain until it's tested. Either way it's awesome!

i wasn't hyped about that since i wanted to try new pokemon but it's looking more and more likely that we don't get that many of them. :(
 
If they kept making 120~150 new Pokémon each 3 years/new generation, we would have almost 1000 of them by 2016~2017. That is just... to much imo.

I am really hoping the 70 Pokémon thing is true, though I really doubt it is.
 
Hmm... I usually hate getting older Pokemon in new gens but it would seem that X/Y are designed around using them. Guess I'm having Pokes of all regions in my party then!

It's not the 70 that bothers me, it's the fact that if it is 70 we've already seen half of the Dex.

See that's it, there comes a point when it's too much. And I love that they've found a way around this by revisiting older generations and breathing new life into them with mega evolutions, more additions to existing evolution lines etc. So good.

I won't argue the rest, but come on, Charizard is the definitive final starter evo. Red and FireRed versions were more popular, Ash had a Charizard, Charizard was playable in Smash Bros., etc.

This is coming from someone who prefers Blastoise personally.
 
Anyone know if there are early copies floating around the US? If so i might stop by chinatown in nyc on my way home, theres a store there that normally breaks street dates but i dont think they've ever did two week early release

Yeah, that sucks a bit. At least I hope there are a lot of Mega Evolutions unrevealed.

Agreed. I wouldn't mind this and the next generations having only a few new mons and the rest being Mega Evolutions of older ones.

I see them making roster cuts than stopping completely... If anything they could alternate between Gen 1 - 6 games and Gen 7 - Future games. But then people will beg for the master Pokémon game with all gens included.... Cycle continues.

My complaint is that GF could have avoided this problem by not adding all of the fodder to every gen roster... Only add meaningful additions...

Wtf is a Quilfish, Wtf is a Druddigon, Wtf is a Manaphy ... All pointless Pokemon
