Cynthia has very little to do with Unova, Reshiram, or Zekrom. I doubt this confirms her presence in the game. Maybe the statues are like the Statue of Liberty? Gifts from Unova? IIRC Unova = PokeUS and Kalos = PokeFrance.

That makes sense then. Charizard X will be a physical attacker while Charizard Y will be a special attacker. Going with Y so I can have instant Solar Beam.
