I'm pretty sure those Swirlix and Spritzee evolutions are mid-stage. They have the usual slight incremental change of mid-stage Pokemon. Spritzee's evolution also seems to be molting the pink feathers for purple, and it's not done yet.

This seems to be a common opinion so I'll remain hopeful.

Swirlix needs to redeem itself by evolving into a massive wedding cake. No face or anything, just a big cake.
 
Well, at least friday will bring some new stuff.

You'll still have a lot of questions, but it's better than nothing.

Well if rumours are too be believed there aren't many new Pokemon to show anyway! But does this mean there is still a lot of new gameplay features yet to be revealed? I really can't see what else there is asides from new Pokemon!

I'm not quite sure what the hell Swirlix is supposed to be doing with its evolution. The color kinda looks like a bib, but I have no idea what is up with the hair. The ball thing might be reminiscent of a lollipop, especially since Swirlix is already themed on candy.

It's pretty obvious that Spritzee's going from a round shape to a more elongated one. Notice the thinner parts are purple and the fatter parts are pink. It's also getting more humanoid with actual arms and legs and a distinct head. The humanoid shape and change to purple make me think the plague doctor speculation will hold truer than the flamingo speculation (Too bad, I wanted a flamingo plague doctor).

Also, maybe they could still leak when being anonymous. Seriously, Japanese leakers don't do shit like posting their names or uploading in their personal uploads.

Also it's a can-can flamingo
