Well, with Diamond and Pearl, it was lots of Japanese players getting it around the same time like 2 days or so before release, and they were posting anonymously. Plus Japanese players just seem faster.

I am not going to use any of the Kanto starters since I dislike both Mega Venusaur and Mega Blastoise, so I could pick the darn lizard and the stone for you.It seems like you only get the Mega Stone of the Kanto starter you pick...so we'd both need to pick Charmander
