We have no information about the move's power or properties. Nothing to discuss. Delphox looks alright, about what I expected it might be. I'm glad they opted out of a hat. Not a lot of pokemon could believably pull that off besides, well.

So based off the stat breakdowns on Smogon Delphox is a nice special sweeper with good speed and decent enough Special Defense to take a hit. Ingame that is normally enough to handle most threats.

There's multiple rivals, IIRC. The opposite gender main character (Serena/Calem) pick the starter that's strong against yours (traditional), and another one of your friends picks the one your starter is effective against.

Nah. Not every Pokémon is going to be scurrying around like a crazy Torchic. I imagine Delphox is rather serene and just sways slightly to and fro, not animating much outside of attacks. He is, after all, a badass motherfucker. Not a spaz like Torchic.
