Apparently a Nintendo Rep is going to go to /vp/ leaker's town to visit the store that released early.

I'm sure a possible XY2 will give us a 2nd batch of new Pokémon.

Really interested to know if Mega evolutions get marked as a whole new pokemon in the dex or just a form change. My bet is the later, but I kind of want the former.

the rumor about 70 was a guess tho. apparently the cover legendaries are in that area in the dex.

If XY2 adds any "real" new pokemon, I'll be highly surprised. Maybe some new megas, but not anything else. It'll be GenVII when we get the next batch.

A small number of pokemon was so obvious since the beginning I thought it was already announced.
I just hate it because they always put too many legendaries, otherwise I'm ok with it.

We got 150 last gen, way more than the necessary. We have currently 649 Pokémon. There is absolutely no need for more 100~150 species.
So yeah, to me, those are great news. Either way, opinions. I think the rumor about 70 Pokémon only is fake btw.
