Pretty much everything.

EWWWW
Heliolisk and Diggersby are fucking terrible. I hope Clauncher has a good evolution because I'm jumping ship from team Froakie.
How have we not seen the Psuedo Legendary yet?

That's... actually a fantastic point.

I just can't believe though that in a game where freaking Tyrantum exists, we have Chesnaught and Delphox. Hyperbole and insane starter team loyalties aside, can most of us at least agree that Tyrantum is so much more badass than ANY of the three final starter evolutions (I'M SO SORRY GRENINJA)?

I can't fathom why they would give some random dinosaur Pokemon such better treatment than what they gave to the starters.

I seriously just lucked out picking #TeamFroakie waaay back in January when these games were announced. As I mentioned earlier in this thread, I found all three starters to be brilliantly designed. They were by far my favorite trio of starters since Gen 1.

I freaking LOVE the witch/sorceress motif for Fennekin, and also love the knight theme for Chespin. That shit is so down my alley. But the final evolutions of those two are so dull and unimaginative compared to what they could have been. I'm usually pretty easy on Pokemon designs too, just because I love the universe so much. And I'm sure those two will grow on me over time, but it is still really hard to see it as anything other than a huge missed opportunity to be the most iconic set of starters since this entire freaking series started.

But at the same time Mega Charizard X is a thing, so how mad can I really be?

I wonder if that foreign dude was responisible. He made shit like Golurk I think.

Wait wait wait. I understand you calling Fennekin's evolution dull and unimaginative, but...Chespin's? Really? It might be ugly and bizarre-looking to some and awesome to others, but it definitely doesn't look dull.

Wel it's not finished just yet - wonder how much is shared between 'em if the Coastal one starts with
Drifblim
...

If it's none, and each dex has around 150 each, and the makeup of each is at least 25% new Pokemon, then that would lead to around 112 new Pokemon :)

To be honest, the fact that we have this many, before even the 3rd gym, is sort of insane.

But really, it's gonna take a while to complete these regional dexes...
However its 25/150 or so which if applied comes to 75 pokes all gen. If the rumor is true of only 70 New pokes and 13 legendaries than we've seen almost all the non-legendary pokes so far since we're currently at 50.

Actually I am not a big fan of the rex so speak for yourself. I actually like greninja more than the gen 1 starters perhaps only because he is a frog

How have we not seen the Psuedo Legendary yet?

There probably isnt any. Lucario got a mega evo. Charizard got two mega evo's and a bunch of other popular pokemon.

So besides Lucario getting his job back for a 3rd time, you got a whole bunch of potential for psuedo legendaries because of mega evo's

Whoa whoa let me revise my list. Delphox,Talonflame,Doublade,Hawlucha and Tyrantrum. I need to see what water pokemon I can get on my team.

OK, one question (that I doubt I'll be able to get an answer to) and then I'm out:

How long from "New Game" does it take to unlock local trading? If it's after the first badge like in BW/BW2, I might hurt someone ('cause I want all three starters).

I think he means the Dragonite/Tyranitar/Metagross/Hydreigon(?)/ Garchomp(?) although I'm not up to date on what the fandom considers psuedolegendaries.

Pseudo-legendaries are a specific tradition (600 base stat total, 3-stage, evolves entirely via leveling), not just any powerful non-legendary.

I'm torn on which flying poke I should have on my team, Hawlucha or Noivern. They're both awesome but then again I've almost 100% decided on Chespin so I won't need another fighting.

Anyone notice the number of pokemon...with "facial hair"?!

Chesnaught, Diggersby (clearly the pokemon version of the Gen 3 hiker!), Tyrantrum

I want to do this same thing with a co worker but doubt we will be in the same place when we start so I am curious when online trading is available

I want Pokemon Y (bc it is red :-P) but I like the charizard from X...there is absolutely no way to get my charizard in Y to look like X? Trading an item or something?

Frenchies... We are too lazy to shave correctly, that's why. ;)

Also, am I the only one that think the bunny evo looks like Brutus from Popeye?

If you could get someone to trade you their Charizard X stone, then yes you will be able to use Mega Charizard X in Pokémon Y.

Good luck finding someone willing to trade though, each player will likely only get one of those special stones. :/
