I'd have rather seen more new Pokemom instead of megas. Can only have one mega in your team anyway.

The next best thing I can think of is if they do a Z version, or an X2 Y2 version (like math) and more Kalos Pokemon while making a big free update to the older X and Y games to make them all compatible.
As a work around, with the newer Z, X2 or Y2, they can make the new Kalos Pokemon that appear in those games not possible to be caught in the older ones unless it is through a new evolution or trading between them. That would be cool and a great idea on making newer Pokemon without making a new "generation".
I feel like new megas are inevitable in the gen 6 followup but am doubtful about actual new monsters.

Depend of the ratio of New to old Pokémon, so far the old Pokémon outnumber the new. I guess that Game Freak put more effort into the Mega Evolutions.
Interestedly Sylveon is still the 6 gen Pokémon that evolves from a past gen Pokémon.

Agreed. Any new Pokemon may as well be saved for Gen 7 in 3 - 4 years.

I'd rather stay with only 70~90 new mons for the next 3~4 years and then have a new generation with 130 +/- new Pokémon.
I'd like they to introduce new mega evolutions in Z/X2Y2 though.
Hate to break it to you but Dunsparce doesn't get an evolution.

Agreed. I doubt I'll really use Megas anyway, just have one Poke vastly overleveled compared to everything else.

If not, I...am not surprised that Game Freak trolled us putting those Pokemon in Kalos and giving them jack. We're pretty much expectant of that at this point, right? Right?

In terms of non-Megas and non-Kalos? Doesn't seem so. Not to mention I don't think there's been much in terms of old Pokemon who are now part-Fairy. I think most leakers are focusing on Megas and new Pokemon at the moment.

Yeah, same here. While I didn't like B2W2 as much as BW, I thought sequels were more worth buying than third versions.
Kingdra and Palkia. It needs to be Dragon/Poison or Dragon/Fairy, for the sake of uniqueness.
But wasn't there another list that had all three mentioned? Or was that proven to be fake? I heard conflicting reports with that list...

I believe that's all of them. No Dex listing for Galvantula yet. And no megas for any of them as of now.
I'm the opposite. Currently, Mega Pokemon are over doing themselves. I would have been happier if they were real evolutions for some of the ones revealed. Considering they are only available in battle kills them for me. I would have loved if they stay Mega form as long as they held the item so I can have them in boxes as a Mega. But at the same time, since they aren't considered new Pokemon, they don't add to the Kalos Dex nor National.
Also, when I said make newer Pokemon, I meant make some evolutions and maybe some stand alone. Like say a Hawlucha evolution, or a third evolution for Spritzee and Swirlix. Maybe 30 newer ones for the new games. Not 100+. I mean, if the "70" Kalos Pokemon is true, then 30+ more would be cool to give the native Kalos Pokemon 100. Like Johto had 100 and Sinnoh had 107.
