I really don't like that Charizard is the only one (well, outside Mewtwo) who has two mega evolutions. At least give Venusaur and Blastoise too as well. It annoys me

Care to make one more where all the beige is dark brown instead?
Looks good. Could you do one with a dark brown 'shell'?
I kinda confused what you two were asking for for the same thing, so I made 3 combinations to capture all:

I wouldn't call it a fix. Chespin is based off of a chesnut. Chesnaught is the cracked open chesnut and it's colors reflect that.
Why would a cracked open chestnut has beige scales? It should be brown. Also why is the shell beige? It should be green.

I dunno, it implies the armor is its skin.

The face color in default pretty much implies it's wearing a suit of armor, that's why you don't see brown.
It has the same scales as Quilladin arms. Also it's skin wouldn't exactly be green, no?

Does any of the above fix that?

Not necessarily, look at mega charizard X, fire/dragon and fighting in flying battles.

Edit: bah, late by so much.

Well they don't Mega-Evolve immediately, so it starts the battle as water/flying (fire/flying in Charizard's case), then megavolves, thus the ability for them to be in air battles.

You guys realize why Charizard X is shown in Flying battles, right? When he starts the match, he's Fire/Flying, and then he mega-evolves into Fire/Dragon. It'll probably be the same with Mega Gyarados, who begins Water/Flying. Only makes sense.

If Gengar's Mega evolution changes his ability, he'd be able to do the same thing. Participate with Levitate, then Mega evolve into something else. Pretty interesting, actually.

I never liked the idea of Flying battles, though, only because I'm now expecting them to continue the restricted arena gimmick in later generations, like Underwater battles. Kind of defeats the purpose of the variety in typings.

Anyway, all of these leaks are just validating why I think this is the best generation yet. Keep them comin'!

Maybe Gloomy will be Water Dragon in the end, if he needs rain dance.

I was hoping he would initially be Dragon/Poison, but with all the emphasis on water with him (Hydration/Rain Dance), it's looking pretty likely he'll be Dragon/Water for his 3rd evolution.

Sneaking in a non-flying into a flying battle. NICE

Also Aerodactyl and Mega-Aero will rule Sky battles. Rock Slide motherfuckers

So is Gloomy this gen's Pseudo-Legendary? If so, I have high hopes for the third form. Would love another one though, like in gen 3.

It's Goomy you heretics.

Anyway, it looks more like the Eelektross of it, if the rumors about weather evolutions are true. There's still a chance it could be the Pseudo-legendary judging by the typing.

So...did Game Freak decide to reduce the Legendary Pokemon this time around?

That's not cool if that's the case. I really enjoy reading the lore behind them and catching them even though they may be a bitch to catch sometimes.

All the new features are exciting but the number of Pokemon discovered so far is very underwhelming. I guess I'm just disappointed that BW gave us over 150, and the number of new Pokemon is barely even near 100.

Shit, why are Ghost Pokemon my favorite the last two gens? Chandelure -> Pumpkin thing. Love it. Also, Gourgeist is a genius name. I almost feel like not nicknaming it.

Just finished Pokemon The Origins. Quite good. Though, I'm a bit put off about how they're talking about there being only the Kanto Pokemon, yet Kalos gets brought up in conversation.

After thinking it over I've decided to leave Team Froakie and go with Chespin. That Chesnaught design looked ridiculous to me at first but the damn thing has grown on me.

I've been pretty lazy as far as keeping up with leaks. Have there been any lengthy gameplay videos posted online?

Aren't Megas supposed to be better? Gyrados going from a water serpent dragon to a koi looking thing isn't much of an upgrade...more like a downgrade to me.
