As a Monk, is there any recommended order to spend your Myth Tomes?

I was planning on saving up for the body first but figured I'd ask and see if maybe there was another piece or pieces to go for first.
 
i noticed you can buy a few minions with tomes in mor dhona. is that the only way to obtain them currently? i don't want to waste tomes and find out you can buy them somewhere else.
 
Gotta say, I'm not a big fan of Uldah's aesthetics, but I think this area has some of the best music in the game overall. The city music at night is beautiful and the travel music outside during the day is quite catchy.

I thought this way, too. While the city itself is still the least aesthetically appealing (which is an extremely relative statement when talking about a game that makes a point to present everything as beautiful) I was floored when I walked outside to Thanalan. I think it might be my favorite starter zone.

It's so gorgeous. Especially at night. The music is great there, too.

I was on Sudoku watch for a moment.

For context:

Had a party for Titan HM, which was the last step of the relic quest. We noticed there was some bad lag going on in the instance, so we decided to restart the instance. Not thinking, I opened up the journal menu instead of the duty finder menu and hit abandon duty, which abandoned the relic quest altogether.

All the progress I made over the past few days, including the double quicktongue picatrix, was lost.

Luckily Ultros GAF owns and helped me out with the material costs.

The older Gridania song is dangerously catchy. I will note it is really weird when they changed the overall themes found in Gridania's music to something more traditional fantasy.

Honestly, I pretty much gave up on WAR.

Half as to do with the community opinion on the job, getting rejected in some instances because people want PLD is depressing. Plus I played BLM in the post aht urhgan/tp burn FFXI, I don't wanna re-experience that shit.

The other half is that I find SCH simply so much funnier to play, so my only regret is that I spent so much time gearing WAR. Getting DL pieces for SCH is quite a pain with the current system, sigh.
 
Stuck on PS3 again this weekend. Trying to do FATE stuff in South Shroud and by the time I ever see enemies, the FATEs are over. Rarely even getting any credit. I don't know how you folks who do so play on PS3.

Helped some friends with Chimera for their Relic

No Bard, I'm the one tanking + silencing + stunning

Holy Fuck was the fight intense

One shotted it, only missed 1 Rams Voice (DPS ate it >.>;, lol)

The best moment ever for me as a PLD, like 10% from casting it, I hit Spirits Within, silencing him, holy fuck was it amazing!

Got into 2 FC's lol, one end game, 1 social + helper that I'm like a .5 member

Turn off others HP bars and names, turn off all spell effects.

Yeah, it's pretty frustrating.

I'd go with Relic +1 first, personally. Then whatever slots presents you the most upgrade from where you are currently. If you have a DL body/head, I'd upgrade your hands/boots first.

I did some trial runs with the DF on Titan, Got a good feel for it and I think it's pretty doable with my gear as long as I keep dodging stuff and the healers aren't being dumb. I have about 3800 HP with food and the party bonus which seems to be more than enough. I may try and do some garuda for the claws to beef up my damage a bit to bring Titan down faster.
 
Got my first piece of Darklight gear today and it was the pants. Now that I took off the Healer's Culottes I don't look as silly with the AK top.

Don't know what level you are on the class you're leveling, but if you want to do some dungeons instead of doing FATEs, I'm always interested.

More than enough. I did it on my monk with less than 3300.

I am almost kinda regretting getting the PS3 version because of this just so I can upgrade to the PS4 version for free. The tweaks does help a lot though, but don't expect miracles like behemoth and odin fights.

3300, sheesh. Feels too little! Too used to XI MNK HP That's about how much I'd have without the VIT materia I melded, I think. Only got a handful of them in single-melds. I can get more if I do a bunch of others. =o

What this person obviously doesn't realize: I won't list anything for a price that won't make me a profit or, at worst, break even, and that I literally can make everything they bought back in half an hour since I don't need HQ mats to HQ.

Also this isn't a third party but a very angry same person who was in the undercut war with me, but that's pretty transparent.

Edit: Then they proceeded to tell me lolinvest in some materia and that they reported me for falsely reporting them for harassment.

I actually couldn't stand 1.0 Limsa music after playing the game for about a week. It literally grated my nerves to no end. Too bombastic for too long with a repetitive cadence that just got annoying very quickly.

I never made it out of the Limsa region in 1.0 though, so I have no opinion on the rest of the music.

This Allison person has been trolling up every zone she has been in since at least Coerthas. I first encountered them there a few days into launch and they were having a go with everyone about FATE grinding and whatever else was on their mind.

By the time I arrived at North Thanalan they were getting regularly removed from FATE groups (or leaving voluntarily, I dunno) and alternating between trolling shout and begging for groups for Dark Devices.

I've seen her once since 50 in Limsa talking with someone else, but didn't bother to read it. In short, grade A douche. The entire FC might as well blacklist her, she's no good for anything.
 
Haha wow. I mean I get pissed when people enter my market too, but it's business.

I'm kinda glad I just hide behind my retainers and don't advertise my job. I may lose out on a lot of side gil, but it's whatever.

It was kind of the other way around; I was like the 2nd person to start listing all the one star greens, but it doesn't matter since it's anyone's market. Even though the undercutting can get frustrating at times during peak hours, in the end people are allowed to sell just like I am and everyone has to make a living so I don't get pissed.

What does piss me off though is someone being so vindictive and hateful and playing mind games over some fake products in an MMO. I have very bad anxiety and am kinda sensitive so I don't handle this stuff very well. Crafting was supposed to be kinda relaxing for me, not having to worry about the drama that comes with something like raiding.

Edit: Also I really don't advertise anything; this person investigated the different cities and tracked me down to find out who I was, then lobbed emotes at me in person as you can see in the screen. lol
