On the subject on dual-type moves, could someone tell me the multiplier for a Fire/Flying move on Parasect with Dry Skin + STAB?

Normally the enemy pokemon would faint. In this case it would just die.

Noivern is actually pretty cool, I'd be happy for him to be the Psuedo. He's already better looking than Garchomp and Hydreigon, and he's so far above Druddigon it's not funny.

He's easily my Pokemon of the gen so far, and narrowly edges out Malamar. He's got a guaranteed place in my party.

I would imagine that STAB is only applied for the type the move is classified as, not the types the damage hits for.

To be fair I was assuming competitive battling, which assumes same levelled pkmn.

Anyway, the notion it would make some pkmn useless is nonsense. First of all, we're talking about a hypothetical fire/flying move, it doesn't actually exist. Second, as we've seen with Flying press you're giving up BP and acc for the dual type. and thirdly, any pkmn that would be so super weak to this move, i.e. leavanny and parasect are already slaughtered by flying and fire moves.
