I am already getting bored with the game.

Having all 50s from the start didn't help I guess but it doesn't seem there is much left to do. All there is grinding the same dungeon/s all week for some better equip (that will probably replaced in 1,5 months by CT gear anyway) and Coil.

And the problem with Coil is, that imho it's content that is totally tuned for being played in a static. Pugging it (when tons of people can't even beat Titan, also having a Relic means nothing today as people just buy their wins etc.) is just not the way. So if you don't have a static it's more of an annoyance.

Vit, with the caveat that I would go Str for your weekly farming of Praet/CM/AK

Really the only two places you need Vit are Titan HM and Coil so... up to you when you want to switch over.

You can change a little early if your gear is lagging for Ifrit or Garuda HM tanking, but I didn't switch till Titan and didn't have any issues.

Once I cleared Titan, back to strength for marginally more dps/threat to speed up weekly farm runs :D

If you need a group for HM Ifrit, I'll help you out. I know how difficult it can be to find groups for things sometimes. I'm having no luck in killing Hydra. It doesn't help that you can't Duty Finder it and many have Shouts/Yells turned off due to Gil Sellers. ~_~
 
Does anyone on Sargatanas want to do Dzemael Darkhold tonight? It will be my first time running it (I can go as SCH or SMN, though I prefer SCH) and I'll be getting on around 8 PM CST. Send me (Ptolemy Ura) a message around then if you're interested (and I'll be posting in the FC chat as well).

Solo-healed as SCH 2 rounds of P5 before getting stoned, It was pretty hilarious spamming succor and Lustrate to keep the tank alive while dodging everything.

The fight is definitely pretty good as SCH, tons of stuff you can do with debuff/SS/Placing the fairy/etc.
 
Wanna know what's worse then people harassing another person.

When the person links the entire convo over social media just to embarrass the person.

People say stupid stuff in game all the time, No need to embarrass the person by posting it all over reddit and on these threads.

(this post is in response to few pages back from some crafting harasser)

As for the people who complain about crafters, They have a business to run.

They put a lot of time and effort into getting level 50 on multiple classes, if you wanna use him then you have to tip well and be respectful.

Nothing aggravates me more when people think somebody will just craft 2 star equipment for a person for like 1k tip.

Bit late on reply (only just got back from work) but yeah the reason I'm using macros like these is because I want to do my main attacking rotation using only one set of crossbars on the gamepad, without hitting R1/RB to switch to the next set (which is mainly for my defensive cooldowns, items and utility stuff). I'm not the most dexterous or reactive player around so the less switching to confuse my poor hands involved, the better. With those space-saving macros, I can have all of my offensive attacks and cooldowns on one bar.

I know it's not the most efficient method of playing, but hey I can always tweak and adjust the /wait ticks (at the moment I can get it to 2.40 seconds thanks to my current gear), and I'm certainly enjoying the game using my pad without having my fingers tied up with bar switching.

PS - I personally prefer Heavy Thrust nearer to my Blood for Blood and Internal Release cooldowns, so that the buffs stack together and run down to within a few seconds of each other. Again though I'm not at end-game yet so I'm still inexperienced with DRG efficiency at the mo.

I still need to do the majority of endgame stuff too, been putting it off. So i'm always willing to run it with you.

I get that you want it to be easy, but later on, it'll be useless since if you miss the Vorpal Thrust because you have to run away it'll end up as

1) Getting back to the mob for a gimped Full Thrust
2) Having to restart your combo over again from True Thrust

same goes with the other macros.

I showed an asshole being an asshole, if they don't want to be "embarrassed" they shouldn't be an asshole. Also the individual in question didn't just say something stupid, they're completely and utterly insane. They've been following me around to whatever city I go to and jumping on top of my head today since they're blacklisted and I can't see anything they say. Not only that but they named their retainers after mine.
 
Picked up Garuda's Talons this morning. I'm at 4000 HP with food. Just gotta find a good group to finish Titan off, lol.

How did he even track you? I thought the Market Board only showed the Retainer.

He bought some of my things so probably saw the crafter name on them. But he showed up in person and bombed me with emotes last night so he might have just stalked around the various city markets til he figured out who I was (since he's been doing the same today and jumping on me over and over). I can't say for sure.

Does your FFXIV region match your card region, etc?
 
...Eh fuck it. I'm set for three months.

I was planning on coming back for 2.1 anyways, and at least I can pretty easily "casually" make/farm gil to be ready for housing when that releases.

Edit: And while Summoner is cool and all and there are too many Dragoons, I think I'm going to go *back* to it. Its a fun (if a bit all over the place) rotation that clicked with me when I was doing ifrit attempts 2 weeks ago.

But a good general rule of thumb is you can't add more of an existing stat to an item (usually). Try adding other stats first.

I've tried DEX and determination with no luck on either hmm. maybe it's just capped on the item itself
 
Uh... is anyone else getting a 3070: "World data could not be obtained." error? I was online earlier and got 90000'd and my connection is fine. I restarted the game multiple times but still getting this strange error.

I didn't get that, but my game did freeze my PS3 and now I can't load the NA/EU world list after restarting.

Just ask people in the FC to fill the majority. I'm still on early stuff and still havent had a shortage of help.

Yup this is how I solo healed it, I was a sch. They have all the tools you need to heal that fight. Once you get a plus 1 relic it becomes even easier to do. Though you fuck up once and it's instant game over for everyone :lol
