The weird thing is that I read people reporting that the Elite Four uses Mega Evolutions in the rematches and technically that is an upgrade.

I'm still skeptical there isn't one. B/W had prerequisites before getting them, this one could still have them too. I'm holding out until it's indisputable that there isn't.
I also completely forgot, but you had to have seen every Pokemon in the regional dex in DPPt to gain access to the post game.

Pokemon games generally take quite a while to get into the swing of things (with so many NPCs devoted to pure tutorial dialogue for example), so a meaty post-game adventure is greatly appreciated. The Sevii Islands might actually be my favourite after GSC's Kanto, they were absolutely top notch in all departments.

They really do need to add more post game things GSC has the best post game ever in Pokemon but post game stuff doesn't even need to be another region/island for me. For example in D/P I spent god knows how many hours using the pokeradar (total playtime 400 hours) I really wish they would add that back

This was easily accomplishable by fighting every trainer you see and visiting that one NPC that had a picture of Dialga/Palkia, it would've been unreasonable in any other game.

Doesn't seem like it, as I said on the other page, my pre-order from Tesco dispatched today. They didn't ship the GTAV orders till the day before.

Besides post-game events, yeah there isn't going to be anymore real leaks since the only Pokemon we're missing are not new. There may be hidden megastones but I'm not holding my breath for anything big

No, but they're notorious (in a good way) for games arriving early. Animal Crossing: New Leaf came a day early for me, so I see no reason why Pokemon shouldn't.

HP and Attack are pretty high(both in 110-120 range I'd say) but the rest is garbage. What a shame.

Pretty good team IMO, with no type overlapping (With the exception of Litleo if I decide to go with him). Also, if I can get a Heracross w/ an evolution stone early enough, he'll probably be the only pre-gen VI Pokemon I'll use on my team.
I also tend to use alternates, so my backups will be Inkay and Mega Mawile. Fortunately, because exp seems much easier to get in this game, keeping my alternates close in level to my main team shouldn't be hard. Am I the only one that uses alternates in their main game?

I like Pangoro, but the thing had NU all over it as soon as I saw it.

God I just don't see the appeal in chesnaught. Chespin was my absolute favorite starter and then his next 2 evolutions went from ugly to a poorly designed abomination. I'm legitimately mad when I see chesnaughts design, just so bad.

Just give it a little time for Chesnaught's design to warn to you. I was pretty much the same way when I first saw it, especially upset about the colors of it's body and shell (when he previously was almost all brown and green). After really looking at it for some time, and seeing him in Amie, I've kinda warmed to the design and don't think it's as bad as it was before.
It's by no means my favorite final evolution for a starter, but it's not exactly terrible either. Maybe shiny Chesnaught will fix the colors and make it closer to Chespin/Quilladin? If that happens, that could make it one of my favorites easily.
