Xerneas and Yveltal should be super effective against each other. I know Kyogre had an advantage over Groudon, but that can be kind of justified - there is far more water than earth on the planet. This can't be justified. Life and Death should be in balance.

Xerneas should have been Grass/Fairy. Yveltal is fine as Dark/Flying. Zygarde should have been Poison/Ground.
So does Dialga and Palkia with the former have resistance against the latter. So does Zekrom being weak to Kyurem by type while Reshiram isn't. Like I said, don't try to mix gameplay and lore. I know its good if the gameplay description match with the lore, but when it doesn't just don't take it seriously. If they gonna clash, they would even against each other, just like Groudon and Kyogre with their never ending battle that forced Rayquaza to end it.

My project for the upcoming weekend while waiting for the game is to take the list of pokemon that don't seem to appear in the Kalos dex and contrast that to what is available on the versions I own. I think I'll have the first two gens including legendary pokemon down. Gen 3-5 is going to be rougher. Once I've got a list of pokemon I know I will not be able to capture on my own with the current games I own, I can start checking off ones I've already captured off the list. Then comes capturing the ones I'm able to. I'll have a few months for the actual capturing since Bank will not be available until December. Then once Bank is out resetting games for starters for transfer can begin.

Apparently there is a rumor going around on GameFAQs and Smogon that IV's get automatically maxed out in WiFi battles. Would be absolutely amazing if true.

Serebii mentioned some new held items...

Weakness Policy: When held, it sharply increases the holder's Attack and Special Attack when it is hit by a move that is Super Effective
Assault Vest: When held, it raises Special Defense, but prevents the user from using Status moves
Safety Goggles: When held, this protects the holder from weather damage and powder moves

And new abilities for some mons as well as a new battle feature

Jigglypuff and the Gothita line have got a new ability called Competitive, which boosts its Special Attack stat when one of their stats is lowered.

Kecleon has a new ability called Protean that changes the Pokémon's type to the type of the move it just used. The latter is demonstrated in a new kind of battles "Invese Battles" where the type effectiveness is inversed. This is only done in Route 18 against a Psychic. It's a daily battle

Man, Serebii has so much info that a lot of leakers missed.

For instance, the Safari lets you use YOUR OWN balls, has hidden abilities, and all that.

I thought serebii chickened out of leaking?

anyway all they wrote on that update:
12:55: Xerneas has two forms, merely appearance changes. One, the one we know, is in battle, the other is somewhat diluted and is how it appears outside of battle
Friend Safari is located in the post-game. In it, it takes everyone on your friend list and makes them a specific type. When selected, Pokémon of that type appear (it'll take a while to catalogue, please bear with us). The Pokémon found here can have their Hidden Abilities. Unlike the Safari Zone, however, you can battle and use your own balls.

Well, judging how Merrick doesn't have a picture of Frogadier he started with Fennekin and got Chespin post-game. That's my guess.

Also he picked Amaura

Annoys me that it doesn't work to just go up to the clerks here and demand the game beacuse they are selling it in Spain.

Over here most shops start selling once one of them breaks the date. I've been keeping a close watch on several forums but no luck so far.

The Assault vest item sounds amazing. I can give it to my Gardevoir and get rid of its bad defense =D.

Kecleon new ability should be great if it means that it changes type before using the move, so it always get stab. (something I imagine Mega Arceus to have)

Inverse battles sound awesome also, will use my Rock/Ice poke and enjoy all of now defenses.
