This guy fell off, doing the slim shady gimmick looks like a parody now, 40 years old with bleached hair?...really?

If you hate this it's because you don't care about rap. Clearly Eminem is simply outdated for an industry that is all about the production, people no longer really want to listen to rap as much as they want to listen to a good beat.

His yelling flow its garbage, this guy was better on drugs, he didnt yell like a fool and actually had a vibe to his rhymes, now he just yelling.

Much better than the first single.

GAF isn't the best opinion when it comes to judging things. This is pretty good.

Thinks his PR is better than yours.

The flow over the whole song, god damn! Simple beat + Eminem flow.

Man, so many threads on any type of media are just so...pretentious. How do you guys function like this? lol

I learned to not take the opinions to seriously on here because of the pretentious nature all media threads bring about.

on topic: liked this song a lot breath of fresh air from the usual.

time to take my meds
The chorus is a bit meh, but the rest of the song is good.

...but that Waka Flocka Flame shoutout... ugh.

FAKE EDIT: Oh, wait, he's dissing him? FUCK YES

I don't think he is dissing him or shouting out to him. its just word play on his name.

"until i walk a flock of flames.... what the fuck you thinkin"

wordplay on waka flockas, go hard in the paint. wordplay is close to lupe levels on this. i personally love the "bust a rhyme","lead a new school" reference.

and then this....
Never fading, and I know that the haters are forever waiting
For the day that they can say I fell off, they'd be celebrating
Cause I know the way to get 'em motivated
I make elevating music, you make elevator music
Oh, he's too mainstream
Well, that's what they do when they get jealous, they confuse it
It's not hip hop, it's pop, cause I found a hella way to fuse it
With rock, shock rap with Doc
Throw on Lose Yourself and make 'em lose it
I don't know how to make songs like that
I don't know what words to use
Let me know when it occurs to you
While I’m ripping any one of these verses diverse as you
It’s curtains, I’m inadvertently hurtin' you
How many verses I gotta murder to prove
That if you're half as nice at songs you can sacrifice virgins too
School flunkie, pill junky
But look at the accolades the skills brung me
Full of myself, but still hungry
I bully myself cause I make me do what I put my mind to
And I'm a million leagues above you, ill when I speak in tongues
But it's still tongue in cheek, fuck you
I'm drunk so Satan take the fucking wheel, I'm asleep in the front seat
Bumping Heavy D and the Boys, still chunky, but funky

That flow deserves a better beat. Such a weak music track and weak hook, but Em is still an impressive rapper.

Flow on this is amazing, and of course the super sonic speed part @ 4:25 is amazing. The beat isn't the best but you know, after a few listens it's starting to grow on me... by far the best of the 3 tracks released so far.

I dug Berzerk and Survival. This one's alright. The rapping portion of it is pretty good. The beat and music isn't so great.

Such a great track. Beat could use some work but god damn at the lyrical skill on display here. Based on the two singles released I'm already feeling this album more than his last few.

You people are crazy. The hook isn't much of a hook, but he's absolutely on fire for the entire track.

No he's not. He has a killer flow in the track but those lyrics are just the worst possible type of crap. The beat being kind of lame doesn't really help much either.

It's not hard to understand, everything apart from his flow is a disaster on this track, as much as I absolutely love Em at his best, these dumb lyrics are just a joke. You're the one who doesn't care about rap if you can't see how empty this track is.

Berzerk was pretty eh. Survival had one good verse. This one is pure fucking gold from start to finish. Holy shit!

Edit: The hate here is seriously surprising.

Not really feeling it, but as much crap as I've been given Em lately I can't hate on a song in which he:

- Says "I'm a product of Rakim"

- Shouts out Pharoahe Monch

- Pays homage to the JJ Fad supersonic flow

- and gets away with saying one of the most controversial lines on the MMLP that was censored.

The technical babble does get tiring though.

This a track that people just arent going to get.

Not only is em mixing up his flow, he switches up multiple rhyme schemes, breaking them up with his own different flows. This track would of been helped with a multibeat production to further highlight what he is doing. Its actually one of his most intelligent work in a while but you have to want to listen to it repeately to understand.

This is eminems version of lupes "switch science project"

So its the hip-hop equivalent of Math Rock? Technically proficient but a mess to listen to.

This song is pure fire. 6 minutes of different flows! I checked online and found the lyrics for the song... pure insane! One of the tightest lyrical songs I have heard since the first Nas album and/ or BIG's first album.

I want to mock Em after he co-branded his shit with Call of Duty

But he's still pretty good when he's focused.

Probably in response to this. I hope Waka takes the bait, I want to see Eminem end Waka.

Lord Error

Insane For Sony
This is the first Eminem song that seriously impressed me in a long while. I have no idea how he did this, but it is far better than any similar rap I can think of. Encapsulates well the boastful point made with it - try and make something like this, and you'll see it won't be half as good.

One of the best ever from a technical standpoint. Em is a rap geek from this song. That's the substance of this song, Rap music. I think it's genius.
