Super Smash Bros Wii U and 3DS Thread 2: Where Pilotwings is apparently Minecraft

I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss this screenshot. It appears to be the third background to the Garden of Hope, implying at however the stage "transits" between arenas.

I mean, it's been seen before, but I find it fun to analyze.
 
If you look in the lower right corner of the picture you can see a pipe extended with a grate making it look like an extended nozzle. This clearly confirms Snifit for Kerfuffle.

psssshhhh it's obviously the clear pipes from 3D World as playable character

aka the new IP!
 
Man, sakurai killed this forum with his decision to withhold a character reveal coinciding with X and Y. Seems like none f us have anything to talk about without the hype of a new character. I guess that's what happens when there are so many back to back. Funny thing is, he could start revealing smaller things (items, poke balls, assist trophys) and SmashGAF would go crazy as well.

Actually Pokemon X/Y killed this thread for now because everyone are busy with the game.

You joke about that but we both know it'd spawn conversations about other potential items which would lead to characters which would lead to Ridley and waifu and then the thread would die again
 
Well I just got a job today, so unfortunately idk if I can stay up for the daily pics anymore, maybe when I get use to my schedule.

Or do what I do. Sleep early and wake up early to check smashbros.com and read salty messages on forums. I would like to think that it would be great way to start your day. :P

the original dojo and its 3am updates is what ultimately fucked up my sleeping pattern beyond repair

so here I am in university, studying til 3-4am every night, and catching smash 4 screenshots while I'm at it.

I'd totally wake up at 3/4 am again for ACTUAL updates, but miiverse quote + screenshot isn't enough.
 
I know sakurai has said he really likes characters that being unique movesets to the table. Well this is the next pokemon that needs to be in smash - Hawlucha!!!!!!!! (I would include a picture but I can't ever get pictures to work on this site)

Boom! Give me some luchador wrestling style movesets!

Sylveon and Snake will somehow be included as well. Its the natural cycle of this thread.

I actually managed to fix that same sleep schedule I had from FRESHMAN year in 2007 only to ruin it all over again with the updates (although I've been better about getting the rest elsewhere lately).
 
Might not be awake for the daily pic so I will make a prediction in that I expect sakuai to reveal a character tonight.

Ever since I started college, I've been heading to sleep before 11:00 PM PST, but for some reason almost like clockwork I wake up at 3:00 AM and my body instinctively heads to my phone and checks the Smash Bros. website.

What's happening to me?
 
I wonder what they'll do with Pokemon trainer. Will they keep the gen 1 starters but switch em around? bulbasaur , charmeleon and blastoise would be awesome. Or will the keep em the same but give charizard a mega evolution final smash. Orrr all new starters?

I can't tell if it's sakurai's trolling or this ghost town of a thread that is starting to kill my hype. Come on guys, talk about hope and dreams and fears and wishes for smash 4!

We're all pretty sure its pokemon. If it isn't, I nominate qq more to take the blame and change his avatar back to qq moe in pure disgrace.
 
I hope Jigglypuff becomes viable again. A lot of characters got kicked down in the transition from Melee to Brawl but I feel like Jigglypuff got the worst of it by a pretty good margin.

Yup, although it is a ghost town it's confirmed. It is sakurai killing my hype. What's with the screenshots this week? Especially reusing this one. Ugh I'm out
 
It's only a ghost town because they were all killed by a villainous character. Though, Skyloft is a pretty big stage, so said character would also have to be big...
 
It's fucking nothing again. I wonder how much the release of Pokemon X/Y already threw the development of SSB4 behind. SSB4 delayed.

Please understand.
