I'm intrigued by the White Wii Classic Controller Pro they appear to have listed:-
http://store.nintendo.co.uk/games/games-accessories/wii-classic-controller-white/10848420.html
AFAIK The White Pro Controller has never been released at retail in Europe?

The confusing part is the title and description dont mention its a "Pro" controller, despite the picture clearly showing a Pro, so perhaps its actually a listing for the original Wii Classic Controller (Which was only available in White) with an incorrect picture? I'm tempted to buy one, but I cant be bothered with the whole return process if its actually just an incorrect picture.

...Also, lol at the release date!

You know you could just ask them, right?

That controller is for the Wii so you'll need to attach it to a Wii remote via the wire coming from the top of the controller. It's a different model to the Wii U Pro controller which is completely wireless.

I already tried, as well as asking if the "Wii U Lens Cleaning Kit" would be made available on the shop. They replied:-
Nintendo UK said:
In regards to your query, we can confirm the Wii Classic controller listed on the Nintendo store is the pro controller. We can also confirm that the Wii U lens cleaning kit is available through the Nintendo shop, this can be found under Wii mini, accessories and the item will be listed on the list.
However they are incorrect - the lens cleaning kit listed on their online shop is for the original Wii, not the Wii U version. This doesnt fill me with confidence that the person who replied actually knew what the difference was between the standard and pro Wii classic controllers.

...Also, you said basically the same thing to me last time! What makes you think that Nintendo's UK customer support staff are so knowledgeable?

But why are you talking about the Wii U Pro controller? He is talking about the Wii Classic Controller Pro.

Hahah totally didn't notice that :D

They "should" know, that's why I keep suggesting it. You could ask them to clarify it again.
Your right, they should know - but in my experience thats rarely the case!
Maybe i'll try asking them again...

<EDIT> Just sent them another email also mentioning that the Red Wii Classic Controller Pro listed on the shop does specifically state its a Pro controller in both the title and description, which just adds to my gut feeling that the White controllers picture is incorrect and that it should actually show a picture of the standard/original Wii Classic Controller.

With the 32GB Vita cards being out of stock at Amazon, is there anywhere doing 16GB cards cheaper than 25GB? The 4GB card I got with my Vita just isn't going to work when Uncharted alone is over 3GB.

Ugh, trying to find a cheap Wii U basic is almost impossible. By cheap I mean <£160. Everywhere either doesn't have them anymore or if they do they're around £200 :(

Vouchercloud has another 10% off GAME code up.

I can't get it to work. Clicking show code rarely shows it and when it does I copy and paste and GAME claims it is invalid.

You could ask them to clarify it again.
So I have just received a reply:-
Nintendo UK said:
We can confirm that the White Classic Controller is not the Classic Controller Pro (as pictured), we apologise for any confusion or disappointment caused by this. We are currently addressing the image used for this listing.

As the Wii U uses a different disc drive to the Wii, the Lens cleaner for the Wii is not for use with the Wii U. All items which are compatible with the Wii U are listed in the Wii U accessories section.

We hope this information helps provide clarity.

If you have any further questions or queries, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Looks like my gut feeling was right after all!

Also, apologies for taking this thread slightly off topic.

Well, I feel this issue deserves just as much discussion as the cheapest deals as it cleared up a confusing product listing and even helped out NoE with their bugged out inventory system :P

Great price!! Thanks!! Picked up Zelda and W101 with a 10% coupon and some reward points for a grand total of 68.95 EUR.

Now I'll just cross my fingers on the delivery. Games are in "awaiting stock pick" just now, last time it took a while before unlocking from this status and actually shipping; then almost 3 weeks to get to my home. Let's see.

EDIT: awaiting despatch, yay!

I figured out why the prices on the Official Nintendo Store UK randomly went up to £999.99. The official store is ran by the hut group, the same happens with their products all the time...

Had a go at trying to get the 32GB Vita card using Flubit last night. They offered it for £37, which I thought was interesting as Amazon didn't have stock. They took my money and said they'll source it.

Got an email earlier saying they couldn't source it and are refunding the money. Kind of expected that but with them taking the money, I had some hope that they might have found another retailer somewhere.

Oh well, back to looking for a card.

Argos deal which is live between the 16-22nd October.

Oh crap that's an amazing deal :o If I wasn't planning on buying a PC at the end of the year I'd jump on that so badly.

EDIT: Is that the OLED or LCD Vita?

Jesus christ since i got my vita the deals for this great little thing are all over the place!really good games btw.even virtua tennis is great

Yeah, I'd be annoyed about all these deals so close to getting mine, if I hadn't used it a ton already. My £150 Wifi model + Soul Sacrifice looks a little laughable compared to some of the deals going around just now. Great time to get one.

In store in Sainsbury's, I managed to pick up 2 black Wii Nunchucks (although, they had a couple of white ones too) for half price-ish £7.99 instead of £15.99. Also snagged Mario tennis Open 3DS for £9.99 and saw they had New Super Mario Bros U for £24.99. I would have got that for sure if I hadn't already paid £49.99 when WWHD was released *feelinsalty*

£24.99, damn, I searched all the supermarkets near me and it was still £40 in my local sainsburys last week, I ended up paying £25 for a used copy

You get a £10 Argos voucher with that Argos deal too.

Damn I've cracked, I've reserved it, luckily they give you a night to sleep on it but I doubt I'll change my mind.
I think I'll wait a bit to get the 32gb memory card though, I just hope I can put up with the 8gb.

I'm wavering mightily on this too, but i'm conflicted over the new model that's launching...the micro USB port rather than the proprietary one, plus extra battery life is a real draw.

Wow, that's a damned tempting deal from Argos and there's one just round the corner.
Any info on how it meshes with the PS4 as that would sway me to an impulse buy.

Remote play (I believe) any PS4 title? Both on your home Wifi and out and about if you can find a decent enough connection.

I wish I could afford one myself, cracking deal.

There were some great vita deals last Christmas, I wonder what will happen this year since there are already some crazy deals going on.
I wish someone would bundle it with P4G and a decent size card .

I just picked up my Vita from Argos. You do get the £10 voucher off with it

They told me they'd sold LOADS this morning (Reading), so if you are thinking about it you might as well pull the trigger and place a reserve order. You'll have till tomorrow night to decide.

P4G seems like too much of a niche game to make that happen. But yeah: a decent memory card packed in would be a welcome change.

Not strictly gaming related. UK GAF. Amazon have free £2 Amazon MP3 credit over at Amazon local. It is applied to your Amazon account. There are some gaming related MP3s up on Amazon. You have until the 26th to spend it.

I got invalid on that too - trying to apply it on a Wii U. I think it's just on games.
It is not supposed to work on hardware anyway (but it always does, the message would be about basket contents if it did work).

I'm applying it to games. GAME live support have told me it is invalid too...while the support conversation was fine I rated it 1 and left feedback stating they should not run promotions with vouchercloud if the code will not function.

So in other words I have to find a contact detail for vouchercloud...by which time GAME will pull the code as they always do. Edit: They have a form on the website.

I know but I want a vita mainly because of that game so it would make the decision easier. A few years ago I would've pulled the trigger on the deals on this page without thinking but I'm pretty broke right now, will wait to see what black Friday brings.

Popped into Blockbuster today for the first time in a while and they are doing 70% off a lot of older titles, and not just the standard Fifa 09s or 25 copies of Dark Sector.

I have no idea how well I've done here as these will be all be firsts for me but I got

- 70% off DMC 4 and Sin and Punishment: Successor of the Skies (£3.30 each instead of £11)
- 30% off Folklore (£9.80 from £14)

Are these any good? They had a lot of other good deals like Binary Domain and PoP: Forgotten Sands type stuff for £3.30 but I'd played most of them.

Now I'm sat here staring at them and I can't decide on which one to play first. What do I go with GAF?
