We're all pretty sure its pokemon. If it isn't, I nominate qq more to take the blame and change his avatar back to qq moe in pure disgrace.
This is not how avatar bets work.

I'm too busy playing Xenoblade, actually >.>
How far are you into it? I've played a good 55 hours, myself. Haven't picked it up since late last week, though.

I think some of you guys need to take a step back from smash if you're going to complain Sakurai isn't revealing your new stage or character.

Nintendo needs Smash hype right now, even though the game is still probably a massive ways away. If Nintendo needs to hire one person who's only job is to take interesting screenshots each day, and cut together an interesting video now and then, it would be a worthwhile investment for them.

It'd be awesome if they released footage of a simple match for both, Wii U and 3DS, even using the plain characters.

Just wanna see some more, yo.

I wonder if adult Link is going to be bottom tier again. Judging by what has been released so far it looks like they aren't tinkering with him at all. He's been my main in every installment and probably will be in the new one regardless, but when Toon Link got announced I literally just thought "well, adult Link confirmed for bottom tier again."

What's sad is that after playing project M and seeing how the small buffs they gave him significantly improved his game, it made me feel that they purposely make Link slower and bulkier to better contrast with Toon Link. =(

Kinda weird that it doesn't have the trademark impressionism filter... since that was basically the whole thing with SS's art style.

Yeah, the idea of a competitive scene in MLG for Smash is exciting.

Oh, Smash was in MLG before, and even after it was dropped from the official lineup, MLG supported grassroots events for it later on. :)
The more significant part of this isn't MLG picking up Smash again, but rather Nintendo's interest in supporting the competitive community of it instead of outright ignoring them (or denying them permission to stream).

I feel your pain. Since Smash 64 and being a die hard zelda fan I always love to play with link, brawl really ruined him for me but he is a blast to play with in Project M (although I'll be honest, even in project M I prefer Toon Link)

I'm still holding out hope that they will give both versions of link unique side B moves since we haven't see the boomerang from either of them and give them unique A attacks and aerials.

Slow goin' this week I see.....Pokemon must be ruling his life right now.

I think games coming out this year and early 2014 need the hype more than a game most likely out in fall.

Yeah, I hope Nintendo continues with that interest. I love playing Smash casually, but the 16-year old in me wants to see competitive Smash brought back. It really is quite a deep game.

I know I stated it before, but damn I sure hope Sakurai changes Wario and give him a more Wario Land-esque style. Brawl's Wario moveset is a good and imaginative take on the Wario Ware series, but his Wario Land appearances just fit in line with the game's combative nature much, much more.

A long stretch wish would be this moveset and perhaps fixing his body proportions. His arms are wayy too stubby and height wise she should at least be as tall as DK or Luigi if im not mistaken. His weight and movement speed is fine, maybe a few tweaks here and there.

Have to agree with this. I like wacky Wario, but it's a little out of place.. He doesn't fight in his Wario Ware games, in fact, he doesn't do much of anything in them.

Unfortunately, Wario Land doesn't seem to be coming back anytime soon.

There's no doubt in my mind that things will start to pick up around next year's E3, leading up to the release of the game in late 2014. I'm talking a flood of new characters, items, stages, game modes, and music -- the usual Smash Bros. fanfare. I really don't think we'll hear anything truly significant until then, just monthly veteran reveals and the occasional stage.

Activision are close to confirming Tony Hawk for this, cannot wait he was great to play as in American Sk8land and will have amazing moves in this!

Team Rocket references? Meowth confirmed?

Also, Goomy would be SSSS tier if it ever made it to smash bros

Oh, I know. I was just joking obviously.

So anyways how many of everyone's mains have been announced? I got zero of mine thus far but I doubt they will be dropped

64: Captain Falcon

Melee: Sheik, Marth, Falco

Brawl: Meta Knight, Marth, Snake

Well dang... If it makes you feel better I am in that Marth boat right there with you. I also need IC and Jiggles would be nice but she has always been a character I want to learn but just couldn't perhaps because she sucked in SSBB.

I'm pretty much maining random button so I hope that it will be back. Yeah it's my problem with Brawl. I love most of characters, so sometime I have hard time to decide which one I should play with. Basically when I'm thinking about mains, and I could say Mario, Ganondorf, Marth, Pit, Pikachu, Link, Snake, Wolf and few more.

I went tournaments few time and went so close to win the tournaments with Pikachu, Marth and King Dedede.

Haha, sorta the same. Nobody has shown up though I always liked playing young link.

Snake and Ike were my Brawl mains and both seem to be the most likely to go. If they give ganondorf an overhaul I will flock right to him.

Even a trophy's stretching it. Sonic is Sonic. It's not like there are going to be classic versions of Mario, Luigi, Donkey Kong, Link, Samus, Pit, and so on.

Well, Classic Sonic is the name he goes by in that Generations game, but I think it could a case similar to Link where you have young in the past or toon Link now. The character look is different enough to grant it.

Well, we got Ice Climbers 8-bits Trophy in Melee, but I can't even recalled anything in Brawl except Lakitu, Excitebikers and Advance Wars' trophy but I don't count it because of their assist trophy status.

Except Sonic Generations happened which went out of its way to distinguish that the two Sonics were different.
