Amazing. LMAO.
I still think they'll deliver a visually stunning game. I have a feeling we're going to be very surprised.I would have included Halo 5 without doubt if it were not for the 60fps target.

Just noticed no one's signed up to make the OT. That's too bad...
I honestly don't think a nextgen game is going to look as good as Ryse for a while. It's in the same situation as Halo CE was - it's been being made for a while now, a lot longer than most nextgen games, and the dev is using the best tools in the business.
Anyone who's seen the Ryse tech presentations will know that Crytek went about working on Ryse with an emphasis on efficient programming systems. So they effectively cut down time that would have been spent arduously recreating so many assets for so many environments.

Definitely. I wouldn't object to him conquesting and pillaging me if you know what I mean.Looks like a man's man to me.
Again can't wait until we start seeing the second wave of games from both consoles, when devs have had more time with the new hardware. Can't even imagine the kind of shit we will be seeing from the likes of Naughty Dog and 343i.
Killzone Shadow Fall, Witcher 3, Infamous SS, The Order 1886, Quantum Break and Uncharted 4 will all top it without too much effort imo. 2015 the gap is only going to widen.
Basically, we can expect gameplay graphics to look similar to the Deep Down and Quantic Dream Sorcerer tech demo's.
Agree, Halo Reach in parts looks fantastic.

dunno man, I still have faith in them, lot of talent there. by the way, is there any UE4 title already announced?
Well they did confirm 60fps at E3...not sure if they just meant MP or SP as well.Uhm I think it's safe to assume that Halo 5 will look out of this world - 343i knows their shit
The question is will Halo ever Reach 60 FPS or are they sticking to 30 FPS like in the previous games

I don't want to get in to this, but Killzone SF does, and has 44% more pixels, open ended gameplay (SP) and in MP at least, runs at double the frame rate. Think on that a minute.
Yeah, I think this is inevitable. And the correct design decision.I have a feeling they'll follow the precedent and go for 30fps campaign and 60fps multiplayer.
That was Bungie, not 343.

Quantum Break is some nice eye candy.
60fps is very demanding. Halo 5 might be the first notable release to go back to 720p if they scale the scope of the game with the specs.
obvious post is obvious.
I see You are still in denial. So Dead Rising 3 is also 50% better than Ryse, because it has more open ended gameplay and 44% more pixels?
Think on that a minute ...
------------
I'm pretty sure that there will be only maybe one or two games in 2014 that will come close to Ryse fidelity.

Crytek is doing next-gen games for 7 years now and Crysis 3 is the most technically advanced on current gen, so why would all companies pass them in a heartbeat in their first try? Its illogical.
Where is that GIF from? I haven't seen that clip.

I preferred Reach, Halo 4 was missing those epic skyboxes.Yep and Halo 4 looks better.
muahaha rofl
I must be missing something, or massively overvaluing Killzone. It's funny how many of us have been making jokes about the NFL and TV focus of the Xbone, yet it is easily looking to have the best launch of exclusive games between the two consoles. I'm going ahead and eating my crow now.

At least it will have more than 24 characters on the screen at once.
Anyways, I can not wait for this game. At first I was unsure, now I know I want. I was at Best Buy yesterday and I heard two random guys talking about the game. Just random, no bravado.
Lots of excitement for the next gen I think!

Ryse already looks better than the Sorcerer tech demo. Skin in particular is way better.Basically, we can expect gameplay graphics to look similar to the Deep Down and Quantic Dream Sorcerer tech demo's.

I don't really know, I'm a PC gamer, I just like observing all this new console madness.

The Quantum Break footage isn't CGI? What in gods.
Out of curiosity, have they said how long the single player campaign is?
