I bet you you are wrong. Having just played through Beyond Two Souls (which looks borderline next gen and near photo realistic at times, minus the IQ deficit) I believe QD when they say The Sorcerer visuals is the kind of visuals you can expect from their next game. If not then, at least some point in the near future (maybe 2 years in to the next gen etc).

I want a next-gen God of War. This could be it. Too bad, though. I also want a next-gen Souls game and the first (February) DD reveal looked like it was *it*. Too bad, though.

You know this literally looks like a scene from Spartacus with real-live actor being superimposed on a CG background - which is BAD for the Spartacus series because you notice "Hey, it was CG!" but GREAT for a videogame because you notice "Holy shit, it looks like CG!"

As I've said before, this is Andy Serkis's new mocap studio, The Imaginarium, capturing the actor performance for the cutscenes. He is using many of and improving upon WEGA's techniques that were used for the mocap performance in Heavenly Sword. You can think of the cutscene performance in this game as the spiritual successor to that of Heavenly sword.

Strangely enough, the combat system seems similarly janky like Heavenly Sword's, with jilted transition animations. A way to rectify this is to add dynamically-generated physics-based transition animations.

It seems like its batman style combat. Dont think that works well for a sword focused game. Will have to try it out and see though.

Just downloaded the hi quality gamersyde video on my ps3 and watched I on my 42" Sony tv... It is amazing, really truly astounding. I am so looking forward to playing this on my X1 it is really truly next gen. This and killzone and bf4 will be the real visual joys of launch.

If you can watch it on ps3 as it looks better than on a PC screen, it is a shame for only 360 owners as they cannot have the choice to watch the hi quality version but if you can.. Do!!!
