So has anyone asked Sakurai about the lack of GCN controllers and their impact on the game in an interview yet, and the possibility of a wireless Wii U GCN-style controller? Because a sexy GCN-style controller for the Wii U would be beautiful.

Assuming this is a fake(which it is most likely) how would they go about making something like this? Genuinely curious because I think its fascinating how some people made really impressive character mockups in Brawl's style.

People made fake mock-up "New Character" models for Brawl constantly back before it was released, don't see how a decent model against a gradient background is some mind-blowing photoshop trickery.

I would genuinely be surprised if there were no playable Mewtwo in any shape or form for the game, especially with all the buzz about Mega Mewtwo/X/Y. Hopefully the Project M team sparked a fire under Sakurai's ass about the desire to have Mewtwo return for Smash U.
In fact, I wonder if he keeps up or knows about Project M...wouldn't it be crazy to see a move or something from Project M show up in Smash U? Those guys would probably lose their shit lol.

I didn't say it did. Hell that's even if Sakurai is even aware of it. All im saying is what IF coincidentally a new move or something overlaps with Smash U, the Project M guys would most likely feel like they had some influence. Realistically if Sakurai IS aware of Project M, I can't imagine him being too happy about it...he seems really protective of Smash. As far as the Mewtwo inclusion, i'm thinking his inclusion in Project M has probably caused some people to bombard Sakurai about him being in, if they weren't already.

I'm kind of worried about Mewtwo's representation if it's in. Even beyond it potentially being represented by its horrid mega forms (and they are very horrid, but I don't see it being too likely at this point, at least, not out of a FS transformation), I really hope they don't give Mewtwo its new feminine voice, and I really don't see them not.
It's not that I dislike the voice, I'd just rather Mewtwo not remind me of the film's weak and canonically nonsensical new Mewtwo. When I want Mewtwo, I want Mewtwo as it was. The more I think on it, the more I realize how much Mewtwo missing Brawl made these negative possibilities more likely. Had Mewtwo appeared in Brawl, there would have been precedent to keep Mewtwo as it was, but with a non-appearance separating it, there's more room to get away with changes like that. Not happy about it.

If there's gonna be a "themed" XY stage, it'll be on 3DS, though Wii U would get a stadium, I imagine.
I have a hard time distinguishing it, all I see is blue >.<

I played through Mother 3 and loved it. And I do agree, Kumatora's name DOES sound like some kind of sacred tome or something. Furthermore im kinda glad at some of the localization the Starmen team did on the game....Fassad just fits much better than Yokuba imo.

What Nintendo games other than Mario Kart (Rumored April) and Donkey Kong come out around this time?
Cuz that would be weird to put of smash so close to mario Kart.
Brawl was released a month before Mario Kart Wii, so there's precedent.
Still believe the game is going to be a 2014 Holiday release at the earliest.
