As far as playable Mii goes - honestly, they're up there with my most wanted. I hit up Wii Fit every day, go through my streetpasses on the 3DS on a regular basis, the biggest face of the Wii was clearly Wii Sports... I see more of the "Johnny" Mii that represents me than most other Nintendo characters combined.

They've got a huge moveset potential between Wii Sports, Wii Fit, Wii Party, Wii Music, Wii Play, Pilotwings, Streetpass Quest... baseball bat smash attacks, bowling Down B, chicken suit Up B (or hangglider, maybe?), magic-based-on-Mii-color Neutral B, Mii Plaza Final Smash. Maybe give 'em three different weight versions, like in Mario Kart, based on how big your Mii is. I really can't imagine them NOT being included.

I think we will get "pre-made" Mii, so I would like to assume that they might be same mii that are

1. default mii (from other games)
2. mii from the box arts.

I could see that being an option but I think it would remove the best and perhaps only draw of the Miis

Mii without customization would be pretty dumb

it makes sense for the other avatar like characters since there isn't already an infrastructure in place to import the customized versions, but Miis are like... right there

Found this on the Smash Bros. subreddit. This was apparently leaked by a Nintendo of America employee on /v/. Yeah, it could be fake, but I'm thinking it's the real deal. The image seems original and unmodified, the design fits in with this game's visual style, and Ness seems like a plausible character to reveal soon. Anyone care to prove me wrong?

They have super final, final version that you an mod over several characters ( I put mine over DK because no one I know uses him) and its pretty great. Downside is though I believe the only way to get super shadow as a final smash you have to mod him over sonic. However if you wish to keep sonic there, when he is modded over someone else, he has the chaos blast final smash.
Its mostly polished, and to be quite honest, if shadow got in the next smash I will be disappoint if he did not have a move set similar to that. His down grab he throws on the ground and burns you with his rocket boots, oh god that makes so much sense.

Regarding the Ness, his proportions are off. I mean, they could have made his head smaller for SSB4, but why? Out of all the characters, why would they alter Ness's proportions when he was pretty much entirely accurate to begin with? It really doesn't look real in the slightest. The rim of his hat and the end of his bat look rather low poly as well. Not real.
