Yep, I think when they originally announced it they were talking up the Xbox One version a little bit more and were cagey on their PC version talks but I found a couple more recent articles stating the PC version is getting dedicated servers.


I'll be interested to see what the spec requirements are but will probably pick this up on my Xbox One anyways just because I'll need something to play on it.

I thought during the Giant Bomb E3 after hours show that they said that they would be using Azure for Xbox One but that they would have to rack/allocate their own servers for the PC version. If that's changed, then that's great news!

Well, Source is built on GoldSrc, and GoldSrc is built on the Quake 1 Engine, so it's technically just running on a heavily modified Quake 1 Engine.

You just described Dedicated Servers. Nothing new here, as I said the advantages are on the ease of use for developers.

6850 is a quality card, far from having any issues running games.

You somehow made me even more pumped for Titanfall . Am also running a quad 6850 and while it's probable that I will have updated my rig by the time the game launches, it's nice to know I'd be able to run the game on my current rig (even at low settings).

First off, thank you!. I was trying to remember where I had heard that but couldn't place it. It was when they were on that live stream with Giant Bomb.

Now I am kinda glad Dark Souls 2 got delayed for PC, although I will probably cave and buy a console version to play it earlier as well.

Is the cloud processing only for Xbox One or is it on PC and/or 360 as well? I'm assuming yes but I can't recall hearing either way.

Is there a reason why everyone mentioning a possible PS4 version is getting banned? I just read the thread for the first time.

Port begging. Also possibly spreading misinformation. Until an official announcement comes out saying there's a PS4 version in development then there's no PS4 version. Saying you'll "pick it up this Fall" for said console is just misconstruing the truth based on rumors. I'm sure many of these posters are doing it for reasons other than being purely informational as well.

i'm in for xbone version. don't like playing these types of shooters with m&kb and i wouldn't be competitive using a controller on pc. nice to have a date not too far away.
