I'm trying to get the Resloution Box but Play-Asia still doesn't have it available.
I am a fan of the original "Amano" packaging (obviously), but there is no reason why it couldn't be both. I suppose that the Twin Pack sold in Japan, has that gorgeous CG of Tidus and Yuna outside, but that both games come each in their own original "Amano" (simple) package inside.
I really hope we get the same double release on a Twin Pack that is identical to that one.

On a sidenote. Just out of curiosity, how much are those planning on buying the Vita versions willing to pay?
My top is $29.99 for each physical release. Between $40 and $50 for a Twin Pack if we get it.
But honestly, I'll pay whatever they ask. I'm a sucker for these games, and I also want FFXII HD to happen.

I don't even remember the framerate in the original game. It was such a long time ago and I played it on a shitty PAL 50Hz TV so...

It's not a must for this game, of course - but if they were to implement 60fps it would just look better overall. Smooth, crisp image is always better than solely crisp image.AuthenticM

60fps is just prettier and easier on the eyes, so it matters for every type of game.

Rumours about a february western release.
They are releasing Lightning Returns in February. Not that good sounding a rumor.

Probably 30, especially considering the games are running at full 1080p. A good tradeoff, especially if the framerate is steady throughout.
Cinematics will still likely run at the usual 24fps.

I was planning on getting on getting the HD Collection for PS3 and the Vita version of FFX only since I really wasn't a big fan of X-2. In fact it's probably my least favourite post FFIV.
But the art on that Vita dual pack is gorgeous. If that comes over to the UK, I guess I will end up with two copies of X-2 that I don't want...

Hard to like it, the original was a lot better.
I cannot believe they would actually fuck things up to this extent, just when i thought this was going to one of the best remakes.
At this point its safe to say they also probably ruined Wandering Flame, To Zanarkand, etc.
I hope we can play this with the original soundtrack instead of this mess.

Unless they changed absolutely everything about this game besides 3D models and bringing things up to looking HD, this reeks of them changing the song for the sake of it. It's an interesting take on the Besaid Island track, but the mood that the original song evoked with what you were doing at this point in the game is completely gone.
Have there been any comments on including the original soundtrack as an option in the game?
I might not buy another Vita game till X-2 comes out. I really want another RPG to play on it after P4G, but the selection is very limited.

Yeah, I agree with this. The song is a tad too slow and emotional. It should be upbeat and joyful, as if you were jogging on a beautiful island on a bright and sunny day.
