Hi, I'm Kraftwerk. You might remember me from such linguistic threads as
Linguistic Relativity or Real talk: I'mma cast some epic shade on 'salty'. #dead .
Maybe I am slow when it comes to catching onto modern trends since I am getting older, so pardon my ignorance. I also state that i have no problem with this at all, I actually anjoy it. Just a mere observation from an old man in modern times.
As I stated in the title, a lot of people I know have started using two specific words A LOT.
Such & Much
It is coming into all forms of discussion. From text messages, over the phone, online gaming and whatnot. The most random places too.
I was playing World Of Warcraft the other day, and after killing a boss we started walking towards the next one. That dungeon has some nice murals and wall designs and the group leader started saying;
"Such Murals...Much Art"
I busted out laughing.
Earlier today while I was having lunch with two friends, one of them said "Such nourishment" after we ate.
Last week among another group of friends, while talking about one of them asking a girl out in public, a friend said "such courage..much bravery"
These are just some of the examples that have been occurring around me.
This thread might be idiotic to some, hilarious to others or you might not just give a fuck. Again, just an observation.
Such linguistics!
