If anyone wants to offload some of their breeding rejects (wrong nature, wrong IV or two or whatever), I'm your guy. I want a half decent team without having to spend the time on it b/c my brother and his buddies have far surpassed me and I need to play some fuckin catchups like right now. Money rests on some of these battles yall.

please ~ help me

Unfortunately even with Mega, Gardevoir pales as a special attacker to to her low speed and a pretty much useless ability.

Not to mention that already many pokemon in OU surpass and/or 1-shot her easily. Gengar and Aegis being notable.

There are better Pokemon for her role.

I use her more as a special tank which can attack back, rather than a special sweeper. Good point about gengar and aegis, but I have other pokemon that can deal with them.

Also 4x fighting resistance is nothing to sneeze at. I took a mega heracross close combat and didn't even go to half health, with no investment in defense Ev. I think she can pretty much get a free switch in on fighting moves and set up.

how do you see these IV's? is it on a stat screen? BTW I am a total noob, so I have no clue what even the OP is saying.

Beat the game, and get to Kiloude city. There is a guy in the pokemon center who can tell you a general description of your ivs, as well as any of your best/worst.

If it's a 31, he'll say "stats like that can't be beat".

Incidentally, all pokemon from a friend safari are guaranteed to have two perfect ivs, so that's what most people are using to kickstart breeding.

Anyone point me in the direction of alakazamite?

K
Post your FC

you remember that skylight in Reflection Cave that looked like somewhere you'd bring a Fairy type to trigger an evolution?

also

does anyone have any suggestions in regards to the nature of a Tyrannitar I may use as full on Mega?

Wait it's pretty obvious. Lemme get dat Adamant

my FC is 0602 6282 8767

yeah I thought you said Gible for a minute lolz. if it's Larvitar I'm goin full Addy

What's your FC? Also, thanks a bunch :p

But the point is that Gengar can disregard that entirely and outspeed nearly everything relevant in OU and is immune to EQ.

Gardevoir is useful but she's UU tier useful now compared to her RU tier before. Immunity to Spider Web and fighting on the switch in as well as spinblocking just makes him the vastly superior option.

Also, his Mega Form has Shadow Tag.

My lord this seems like it would be a huge amount of time to do this. I don't want a togepi that bad.

Gardevoir
tanking?
.......come on man, that special defense isn't even that great

Again, thanks a bunch man :p Can't wait to train this sucka

anyone else got breeding rejects they can offload to a person whose work schedule currently precludes his training yet still foolishly takes part in money match bullshit with his siblings?

:p

Got a bulbasaur for you if you want

No problem
I was just gonna dump these on wonder trade anyway
Two boxes of Larvitar lol

I'll take one of the adamant ones as well if you're dumping 'em. Have had shitty luck with wild ones, and I don't have a Friend Safari with one.

Just played against my first Azumarill.... that shit is bananas yo.

I got a few Azumaril counters in my party. Ferrothorn can use Gyroball or Power Whip, or I can switch to my Ninetails. She's got Focus Sash just in case of an OTK water hit, but most of the time she can get off a Draught Solar Beam in time to kill Azu real quick. He's tricky if you come unprepared, but he's not absolutely insane.

Oh I know that gengar is better, I'm just arguing for her viability as one of the better fairies in the game. She doesn't pack the power of M-mawile and azumarill, or the annoyingness of air slash togekiss, but I think that she can be pretty versatile, either for utility, taking special hits or hitting back herself.

Also isn't she pretty much the fastest fairy currently?

Got a bulbasaur for you if you want
It's been my brother's favorite Pokemon since we first started playing all those years ago.

Trust me I'm good on well bred Bulbasaur xp he's got like a box of em and it's his signature mon so naturally I'm avoiding it like the plague. thanks for offering though

Yeah if you don't count priority.

Gah the internet has been out for a whole weekend and won't be fixed till tomorrow. I've been itching to add someone with fletchinder in their friend safari and making this:

Talonflame @ choice band
Naive, gale wings
- brave bird
- flare blitz
- overheat
- u-turn

What do you guys think?

So does anyone want to do me a huge favor and catch me a Female Gabite with Rough Skin in a Luxury Ball? My whole team so far are in Luxury Balls and I don't want to break that trend. :'(

IVs and Nature doesn't matter.

Wouldn't U-turn be wasted with the Choice band? I can't see any situation you'd use it in unless you want to make it a lead.

If I breed a Japanese pokemon will it come out with the english name?

Yes, but the odds of the child being shiny will go up. I think.
