Super Smash Bros Wii U and 3DS Thread 3: Ridley's Believe It or Not!

I wonder when we will get actual newcomers revealed like Megaman, Villager and Wii Fit Trainer. It probably won't be for a while. We still don't even have Yoshi revealed. LOL

those games are released on 3DS, so I'm not concerned about SSB3DS. I'm more concerned about Wii U version.
Er... why? Pretty sure the Wii U has better online capabilities than the 3DS. Firstly it doesn't have to worry about battery life so I bet its wireless receiver is stronger so you won't have to worry about disconnect because if dropped signals and secondly the system is based around constantly being online (and not in a rubbish way like WiiConnect24).

Miiverse post is up

"Pic of the day. The graphical differences of the Spin Attacks are clear. The way they hit are actually very different too."

You'd think they would've done a Pokemon blowout but that seems to be passing by the minute. Not even Pokeball assists outside of Xerneas.

And I too might be jumping the
Rosalina
bandwagon soon due to pretty good Super Mario 3D World possible fifth playable character speculation. It'll at least fill in the all the times that goddamn Pyrosphere stage is barely fully shown.

Very nice picture. Loving the effects.

Pretty sure Toon Link's Spin Attack was just a recolored/smaller version of Link's in Brawl. Here the slash looks more like it from The Wind Waker.

The extra detail added to Toon Link's texture is why his model works just fine with this rendering engine and why it looks a bit poo sometimes in Wind Waker HD.

Yeah, but adult Link's final smash will be a close up of his face as he slowly tries to crack a smile while letting off a slight "Uh".

Is it just me or does Toon Link's spin attack have quite a bit more range to it compared to Brawl? I seem to remember in Brawl that Toon Link's spin attack was roughly half the size of regular Link's spin attack. Though maybe I'm not remembering correctly.

You're right, I think. The graphic and range for Toon Link's spin attack was changed here.

Because he's left handed like he should be
I don't know what that has to do with it. Just look at the images IntelliHeath posted and you'll see that Link does indeed rotate in the opposite direction despite being left handed in both.

Looks an awful lot like Hurricane Slash. :)

TL will probably end up being my main again. Glad you're back, buddy.

Yeah, I hope that everyone else would be back. It's hard to see what would happens in development with unpredictable incidents like Sega's Sonic situation in 2007/2008.
