The reason I own a 3DS is for the 1st party titles and the one I wanted the most was LttP 2. I honestly hate playing anything on that console... it just doesn't feel right or look good. Ever. :lol

Don't even start P4G until you finish any other game you are playing, even more so if it is a PSP Persona. Those are great, but once you start P4G, its production values make the PSP games feel quite archaic.

RSE = Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald (originally released on the GBA)
imo, best pokemon games to date. That along with FF remakes (IV, V, VI), FF Tactics, Drill Dozer and Mario & Luigi made the GBA my all time favorite handheld. And I was hoping that the 3DS could recapture that feel.
Circle pad is a abomination though

What model of 3DS do you have? XL seems to have the better circlepad of the two.

It really is, but nobody ever agrees with me when I say so. It's awful.
"You'll get used to it" they said, nope. I won't. Still hurts my thumb after less than 30 minutes at a time and I've had it for a year now. It's shit.
Then again, I think the 3DS in general(I have an XL) is a terribly built system with great software.

You're stuck with the terrible build quality but 3DS still has a large library of games nonetheless.
The problem is if you're not interested in its software then it becomes a pile of turd.

Well I finished the first Persona a few months back and enjoyed it, and that is quite archaic. The idea was to play them in order but then the $20 P4G disrupted the plan.

Yeah, that's about it... it's okay, but I'm hoping we get a classic Metroid or something too, because other than the few games I own, I don't see any on the horizon that make me excited.
Intels won't help me with the 10k kills or the $1million trophies... so I'm grinding them trying to get the ace ranking too.

I tried playing Order of Ecclesia on my 3DS and gave up in less than an hour. The D-pad's location for older titles makes it tiring to hold for extended periods of time. I'd rather have the PSP nub 50 times over. Plus the game didn't look great on the 3DS screen.

About CoD - I got it with that amazon bundle for my second vita (which had a yellow screen) ... and got returned recently for full price
too bad can't undo digital.Spelunky I'm definitely getting, loved the demo but didn't like the sound of the framerate issues. The patch is supposed to fix the drops in later levels (one of them gold city).

Some of these contracts seem to have hard requirements... I haven't done a lot of those yet... my main focus this week with the time I've been playing Mercenary was to (1) finish the game (2) get all intel and (3) clean up any trophies not related to grinding or the fulfillment of the rest of the contracts.
If I can grind out the rest of my multi rounds, I'll probably shelf the game and move on to TWD or LIMBO or something.
EDIT: HAHAHA, just had a "draw/win" match where it was over in 30 seconds because it was 2v0. Never seen that before. I hope the lobby stays like that... quick easy rounds.

TWD and LIMBO are very short games and you can finish them both on the same day if you're free for the whole day. Getting the platinum trophy on both is also pretty easy.
