Oh no. My bad. I meant GopherD. Apologies. When did he post?
Are the PS4's power and hdmi cables generic?
I am looking to have a set of cables permanently connected to my tv in the lounge and the tv in the bedroom. The tv in the lounge is in a unit and mounted. So very difficult to get to easily. I want to be able to just unplug the PS4 from the living room set and just leave the cables there and hook up to the bedroom tv with another set.
Does anyone know if the cable are just generic?
I'm pretty sure this demo is the version of UE4 that has dispensed of things like SVOGI they said next gen consoles simply couldn't do.
Infiltrator was a good indication of what Epic can achieve with its latest version of Unreal Engine 4, and if games are going to look that good, then we obviously dont mind the lack of the SVOGI (as long as developers take advantage of the alternative solutions that Epic introduced to its engine).
Really hoping Epic reveal the AAA shooter they're working on.
They've been way too quiet this gen, whereas they were out front and center when the 360 was revealed.
They were probably waiting on final kits to arrive and further polish time, but they need to show the industry what they're capable.
Even a new Gears would be fine, but I'd prefer a new IP.
So my predictions for what we see.
Uncharted 4 teaser
Resistance 4 reveal, developed by Sony Bend.
I can't see Epic revealing anything there just yet, although it's certainly plausible.

At the time, it was said to be fake, but who knows now?
If it's real that would be a megaton, but there's no chance IMO.

Good call. I doubt we'll see a proper exclusive from Epic.Remember how Sony flaunted out Destiny from the makers of Halo. I expect the same here, New Epic IP from the makers of Gears. I expect it to be multiplatform but with a PS4 association with perhaps some exclusive DLC.
That PSN logo is wrong anyway.

Sony won't upclock the GPU, because if they can do it later then why they're not doing it now, what would be the point of delaying an upgrade to PS4 to later time?
I think it's rumor from Thuway (an insider), but even he is not sure about it.
Wait wait wait wait wait just a second there.
The date of that article puts the new PSN logo at the beginning of E3.
This image was flying around before E3 if I remember correctly.

Just tossing this out there but how about another Unreal game? Not Unreal tournament but from the mainline Unreal series. The single player could continue the storyline or be a remake with a multiplayer add on that plays like Unreal Tournament.
I'm hoping for The Samaritan, that thing looked amazing both tech and aestheticallyPretty sure no one wants Gears to be the Epic announcement, that ship has sailed long ago, it will be a new IP and I hope its gonna be set in a similar setting as the infiltrator demo

Toward the bolded Epic is pushing toward f2p and games as a service, though the former (f2p) isn't true of all of their products.Maybe Epic are salty about MS 1.3Tflops, they wanted 2.5 (with a GPU upclock later in the Gen expect Sony to atleast break the 2Tflops)
Phil Spencer said on Podcast unlocked a hint about Epics future, when asked if they are gonna have another team do Gears, Phils reply was shifty, sugguesting another team could do it (which we know is BS since EPIC own the IP) Phil then mentioned in a seperate conversation about some studios having other needs and business models for Next gen, releasing on other platforms ( I think he was talking about Crytek, but possibly Epic also)
The next Naughty Dog game is definitely not Savage Starlight, and might have nothing to do with space, at all. Our sources are still confident that the next major release is Uncharted 4.
Despite the recent talks about the upcoming space adventure from Naughty Dog, our contact is confident to confirm that the next game to be revealed by Naughty Dog is not Savage Starlight. Earlier last month our source confirmed to us Naughty Dog would definitely reveal their next game at the next Spike TV event, which we, of course, assumed would be the Video Game Awards of 2013 -- but we've all heard of another event upcoming on the 14th which is the the PlayStation 4 launch special event. Several industry professionals, including Geoff Keighly, have since suggested at a big announcement from Naughty Dog at a special announcement from Naughty Dog at either event.
When confronted, our source confidentially confirmed that the next the title of the next Naughty Dog game is not Savage Starlight. When we asked whether the next game will actually take place in space, he replied, "Naughty Dogs interest in space is very new to me. I would only assume that Naughty Dog's second team is looking for inspiration for their second project".
It's probably just a PS4 version of fortnite...maybe with exclusive Playstation items.
A new Uncharted is the least interesting thing they can do IMO. I didn't even like Uncharted 3. I'd far rather see a new IP, and if not that then a new game in the Last of Us universe but with different characters.
