The only thing there really is to talk about is the snapshots.

I miss the ridiculous Dojo posts, they gave so much more to talk about.

This is essentially a community thread but we get some form of news in the screenshots every weekday. That's the loophole that keeps us in Gaming.

It's pretty much why we have a new thread for new news rule. Most people don't want to follow the discussion about the image updates because they are turned off by this thread.

I just don't understand why it's a good idea to replace the mascot character with someone who is designed around him. Think about it... it's like replacing Pikachu with Emogla!

I think Ridley would be best as a difficult-but-awesome glass cannon. Make him fast moving and hit like a truck but make him have wonky attack executions and fairly light.

The main distinction between those comparisons is that Lucina doesn't suck tremendously. Lucina also has a personality that's significantly different from Marth.

Marth is a veteran, Lucina is not. Marth is the series mascot, Lucina is not (and she'd be a Marth clone, anyway).

Has really good options for covering space in front of him, really good at chasing dudes above him. Has some quick attacks but he's still got that hefty feel to him. Personally I prefer Bowser but he was pretty neat from what little I tried out with him.

Given that IIRC it's by far the most popular entry in the series worldwide I'd argue that it doesn't really matter who the old face was, bc for a lot of current players the 'faces of the series' are made up entirely of that roster of characters plus two that they only even know about because of Smash

Also I really disliked Lucina. Maybe it's because she just reminded me of something I used to know and despise, something about the way she talked just rubbed me the wrong way.

But this is exactly why Marth should be in over Lucinia. Marth is an Icon because of Smash and he is also an important FE character. Marth is a smash veteran and one who introduced his series to the world (along with Roy).

Well I was trying to say that if you are after biggu news you'd likely find a new thread has been made for it. Since all we have at the moment is the daily images that all we can really talk about which is a weekday thing only.

How would it be ideal to replace Marth with Lucina? And I also don't really want a Ness/Lucas situation on Fire Emblem... they should be focusing on diversity on representing the franchise instead. I mean really, all we have are sword users, they should shake things up by adding a non-sword user.
