I like it, too. I'm a fan of the cartoony look. Hopefully they're making it for PlayStation 4, because my laptop can't play games.

But again. I wouldn't mind something entirely new on the scale of Gears, Epic. =)

Stop making shit up, that's how stupid rumours are started. Just Cause 3 is a possibility based on a guess of what GopherD was teasing but it isn't even remotely close to being concrete.

All we know is that the likelihood of Epic appearing at this event is pretty high. Uncharted 4 is a possibility but there's just as much chance Sony will save it for the VGAs.

They do not. A belted jacket over loose pants is anachronistic for the late 16th century. Though such clothes existed, you'd almost always see instead a doublet and bombasted hose. The shoulders should be much more built up as well. But the shirt collars are by far the most out-of-place, basically unknown for the period. You should see almost exclusively very high collars, maybe with ruffs.

Those costumes look much more like the mid-to-late 18th century.
 
Symphony Filter would make my nostalgia heart go crazy! I still have fond memories of tazing people in the first game. And disarming bombs at the trains in the first stage. :D
 
Is it silly to hold out even a sliver of hope Namco might announce Ridge Racer 8 sometime between the 14th and the Japanese launch in Feb ?

Adding a new platform so late in development sure seems like it would explain quite a bit, like the title's fluctuating state of completeness. I mean presentation-wise it sure sounded practically done, or at the very most a few months off. Given that it was presented back in March and all, in less a significant chunk of it had been scrapped since then none of this extra development time seems warranted. Any further development most involve at least some other platform this late in the game.

Especially too, when Epic as of late has stated that the game is currently being co-developed and worked upon, by all their studios to a degree. Then from there assigning the studio now formerly known as People Can Fly to the project as well. It just seems really odd to be placing this global development effort on the game at this point having potentially been almost done.

Something on the scale of Gears doesn't seem improbable or necessarily out of the question either recent Fortnite news aside. I mean from fairly recently statements they outlined working on unannounced triple-A shooter, and then proceed to elaborate on their current development philosophy of having small and big project in the works simultaneously rather than pouring everything into Gears for instance.

I wouldn't mind it if's just new Second Son and Driveclub footage, as well as the first gameplay from The Order. Some lovely indies as well.

Not that I wouldn't welcome something like UC4 or the new SSM game, but the VGA's seems to be a better bet for that.
