1-Megaman- Zero (gba style)
2-Samus - Light Suit
3-Link - Fiercy Deity Link
4-Toon Link - Vaati
5- Fox - Duck Hunt Dog

If they can be equal than Chubby Sonic is number 1 by FAR

4. Daisy (Peach) -- legit Daisy, not just Peach with auburn hair and a yellow dress
5. Pajamas (Toon Link)

Edit- in terms of alternate costumes, I'd like an unlockable 16-bit mode for all characters. Highly unlikely, but it'd be neat.

As you can see, I am a fan of shadow the hedgehog.

Tails gotta be that alt doe. He despite being less popular was around first, and shadow..is a blast-ey kind of guy, and time stops, and rocket shoes. But mostly the first thing. Please note this is my stance on an alt. Full character status, well...clearly you know who I am rooting for anyway.

Still snake for me...tho there's the mystery of whether or not sakurai will keep the bad stamina, forced switch, and type effectiveness*cough burn ivysaur* mechanics.
