The only partnering up I can see happening is Diddy & Dixie, and the only alt costumes I can see are female villager and female Pokemon Trainer. Maybe Dr. Mario but some Melee enthusiasts might not be happy with him playing exactly like Mario.

Naw, the new one is much better. Better model, and the facial expression versus the emotionless predecessor makes it superior in every way.

FLUDD wouldn't be so bad if it actually did something this time around. Luigi's kinda alright as he is though, now that he's significantly different from Mario. Adding the Poltergust with a similar function to FLUDD would be a step back imo.

Well poltergust would do the opposite of what fludd does. Sunshine is old news now. It can be represented by a stage and music sure, but basing Mario off it when we've had Galaxy, Galaxy 2, 3D Land and now 3D World (not to mention the NSMB games), it seems very anti-sakurai to base part of his moveset on Sunshine (not to mention it's the least selling 3D Mario). Luigis mansion is relevant however. It seemed like a no-brained and a very safe bet to ditch fludd and add poltergust, but it comes to show that nothing is guaranteed...

I don't think we will get Ridley as starter character. He would be one of the best surprise when we finally unlocking last characters with a message, "Congratulation, you unlocked all of the characters." and we would says, "that's it?"
After few battles later or weird requirements, BAM! Ridley's challenger shown up with a small sentence, SECRET CHALLENGER APPROACHED!

Pretty sure we'll be able to take split screen shots in smash 4. That's 2 times now he's posted that, and I can't really see him editing them to look like that, but rather simply subtly showing off a feature in smash w/out announcing it.
Can't wait to see all the 2/3 act plays people create. I bet someone tries to make webcomics like that, too.

As others have said here, there are several ways.
If you have an NTSC disc, you can hack your Wii to play games from any region.
Or you can use a USB Loader and get the ISO to play it that way.
If you're paranoid about hacking your Wii for whatever reason, then kiss your chances of playing Project M goodbye.

I'm aware of that. Not saying it's 2 pictures from the same pause. I'm saying that there might be a feature which allows you to take multiple screenshots and splice them together in a time-lapse-ish way.
Pose, Pause, picture, unpause, pose, pause, picture, unpause, pose, pause, picture. Save as 1 picture. Post to miiverse.

I'm a huge fan of Golden Sun, and I don't have any expectation for Golden Sun Representative being playable in Smash. Sadly, I just don't expected to see them as playable in the game. I will be genuinely shocked and hyped if they confirmed them as playable character.

Marth stars in four of the thirteen Fire Emblem games (including the first one), and he's referenced in several others, so he's considered the de facto Fire Emblem mascot.
Personally, I just don't think Golden Sun is an important enough IP to deserve a playable character.

Weel, I think the issue with Ridley is not the significance per se, he after all apears in every Metroid aside Return of Samus and is the iconic enemy of the series along with Mother Brain and more recently Dark Samus.
I think the first issue is that in his universe ridley is really big in size
Yeah, I know that "Ridley is too big" is a kind of lame meme, but he really is big at least twice the other characters given the proportions. And while you can justify Olimar being about the size of the other characters claiming that in his universe it's just the planet of the game to be gigantic, seeing Ridley about the same size of Samus would be a little jarring.
But the main issue is that Ridley is a monster in the most narrative sense. He's more a beast than a character, and while even the flattest of the nintendo characters has a personality, Ridley ends up as a peculiar creature, more akin to a big animale rather than a proper character.
Much like the Cy-bugs of Wreck-it Ralph are different from the other characters of the movie.

I don't think Golden Sun will get a rep either, but it's silly to think that a franchise being more "important" than another one will guarantee they won't get into Smash. Sakurai will surprise us again and again, I'm sure.

Marth should definitely always be in. He represents the franchise like Mario and Link do theirs.
Well the series are good but only a few individuals played them, also since they would go for the main characters people will complain about to many swords users (but people complain about everything so!) even if they could apply psynergy techniques
What I would REALLY like from Nintendo is a remake for the Wii U
ninty plzzMuch better example.
