Its actually a pretty good show, some nice action/fight scenes.

Let's not discuss that pedo-esque show. The moderators had to create a thread for one of it's games with very specific rules due to all the fighting it causes. Here's a link if you're interested in what kind of reaction it causes.

My Little Sister Can't Be This Cute (Oreimo) Happy End announced for PS3 - Sept 26

But I wasn't talking about Oreimo :/

oh nice you guys dedicated 11 posts on a single page to me getting unbanned as a junior

It's an action anime called K. My avatar is of the protagonist. I used the phrase not knowing what it was actually from. :/
Gosh darn it Caladrious.

I knew I hadn't seen you post in a while but I thought you were just avoiding the thread like some others were doing.

I predict Ganondorf in a Santa outfit.

Sorry. Now I know, and knowing is 99% of the battle.

It's totally Gordondarf.

What's you guys' opinion on having 5-player fights? I think it would be a great selling point for the Wii U version to differentiate it from the 3DS one.

We need 8 player matches with 4- team support and it would be fighter of the forever.

I doubt Sakurai would put such a big difference between the two versions, I could see something like a "god mode" where a fifth player control spawn points of items, and stuff like that.

Other than that Smash has seen more than 4 fighters at once in various modes and challenges, although never a fifth player, that'd be sort of interesting to see.

Commissioner Gordon? Batman confirmed.

I say keep it at 4 but that's just me.

Yeah, that's what I mean. Multi-man Melee/Brawl has proven that the game's engine can handle a 5th character easily. They might as well add that extra person in there since the hardware is there.

Hey guys, just wondering if there is a higher res version of this image anywhere?

I really don't know why to keep it at 4 players specifically, Maybe Sakurai designed it that way cause of the original game could only handle four actual players, or for design-purposes (too many humans, too chaotic maybe)

I personally think 4 is the sweet pot. Have there been any games similar to smash that had 5 players? We could use that to compare.

There really aren't any in this specific genre that I can think of, and that's why I think it would be great to try it out. It's going to be hard to get people to buy the Wii U version when so many people already own a 3DS.

there's no such thing as too chaotic in smash bros, especially with items on

6 player mode would be awesome, and it would get people talking.

Heck, even the Wii could technically handle 8 players at once, like Bomberman Blast (RIP Hudson). I think we're due for a player increase.

Still looks like a guy.

Yep, that's an insult to Lucina, IMO.
Guys I'm sad. I'm never going to get Ridley am I?

You might but it is a good idea to try to keep your expectations in check sometimes. The wait is going to be along one so you gotta be patient and just enjoy some discussion and randomness every now and then because we really have no idea what Sakurai has in store for better or worse.

Still can't unsee Marth but it is getting weird lol

I think having more than 4 would be OK if it was allowed on certain stages. It won't be pretty on the smaller stages.

Nintendo sorta dropped the ball with limiting the Wii U to only 4 Wiimotes. For a company that creates so many party games, you'd think the natural evolution would be 6 Wiimote players for many multiplayer games Smash included. Nobody has only 3 other friends to play with anymore. You're either forever alone in single-player or having a party.
