PlayStation 4 All Access on 11/14 - 11pm EST on Spike + Live Stream

Sony have actually got a really great line up for the first half of 2014. Infamous, Driveclub, Diablo 3, The Order, Final Fantasy XIV, and some indie titles too I imagine. We might actually not get that infamous 'post-launch drought'. Maybe..

Also I suspect Deep Down will come out over here roughly the same time. Capcom has a strong track record of localisation.

I am quite excited about it, despite it being F2P. Hopefully it isn't always online that's all.

EDIT:

Interesting point, they keep reiterating how they announced it here and they've come full circle back to NY.

Maybe we'll see the majority of the games they announced there. So Deep Down could be there.

More Kojima teasing. My guess new trailer

Yoshinori Ono (sorry if this has been posted):

I had a short stay in Singapore, where I was able to enjoy the Asian final qualifying round. I’m flying back to Japan tonight! I also had crab cousine specialities. In america next week… Let’s do our best! I wonder if I’ll buy a PS4 to bring home…

I doubt there's gonna be bombs dropped at this event- no need, launch hype is enough to get people to buy.

Im guessing a handful of new indies, new infamous/mgs trailers, maybe an "the order" trailer, and perhaps some unannounced third party stuff. I could see GTA V for example.

Makes no sense to announce major exclusives at this point, IMO.
Sony have nothing announced for the second half of '14, which most would expect to feature numerous big hitters.

Apart from the VGA's, when are these titles going to be announced, it would be very late to announce Q4 '14 titles at E3 next June.

IF US4 is confirmed for PS4, we NEED ps3 sticks to work on the console since, right now, there's no other alternative. I would be happy if it was confirmed, but without sticks, it'd be pointless for me.

After some initial skepticism this would amount to much I'm coming around to thinking that they will actually be revealing new games at this event. I'll probably watch it now. I just hope they use a better cameraman than the person that was responsible for their gamescom presentation.

IIRC Geoff already said they're gonna announce new games. I expect maybe three announcements? Perhaps USFIV, UC4, and um not sure what else.

Here's hoping, anyway.

Yeah, that makes sense. I think USF4 and an Epic reveal are pretty much guaranteed at this point. Maybe, just maybe they finish with a 10-15 second teaser for Uncharted 4 (no gameplay, probably something like the Uncharted 3 teaser) with a full reveal trailer at the VGAs. Outside of that there will probably be a gameplay demo of the Order (it exists and journalists have already seen it), new trailers for already announced games and the inevitable 15 minute watchdogs demo
(j/k ... I hope)
.

Oh yeah, totally forgot about Epic. And I would love to see more of the Order. A little saddened it went into monsters and stuff (was hoping for a classic mystery-adventure), but it still looks really good.

I'm sure this is known, but just a heads up that one option to watch the event will be on your PS3 via the Live Events Viewer app.

The reason I wanted to bring it up, was that I tried the app out last night, and it would not log me in. I had to go to the PlayStation Store on a computer (http://us.playstation.com/psn/playstation-store/) and accept the new "terms of service." Then I was able to login to the events viewer just fine.

Didn't Geoff tweet something about announcing pre show PS4 announcements from tomorrow onwards? Maybe we'll hear about some of the software stuff they have planned tomorrow. I'm guessing it'll just be tweets about new gameplay from announced titles and they'll save any reveals for the show itself.

Fingers crossed for new Infamous gameplay and something in-game from The Order.

Next time you should ask for exclusive PS4 games and not exclusive content for ps platforms. ;)
Content can mean anything, even useless time exclusive DLC.

But well yes, they probably will at least announce one ps4 exclusive.

That was such an awful way of wording the question. All that was asked was if Sony exclusive things would be SHOWN. Obviously! If we see more of inFamous then Keighley isn't wrong. If we see Watchdogs PS exclusive hacking kit, then Keighley isn't wrong. The question should have been "Will PS4 exclusive games be revealed/announced at the event?". Then we could get all hype.

Yoshinori Ono Might be at PS4′s Launch Event: Street Fighter IV or Deep Down Announcement Incoming?

Capcom’s Senior Producer Yoshinori Ono just tweeted about traveling to the United States next week, and we all know what’s going to happen next week: on November the 14th at 11:00 PM EST Sony is going to hold a big launch event for the PS4 streamed live on Spike TV and hosted by Geoff Keighley.

Here’s the tweet, translated from Japanese:

I had a short stay in Singapore, where I was able to enjoy the Asian final qualifying round. I’m flying back to Japan tonight! I also had crab cousine specialities. In america next week… Let’s do our best! I wonder if I’ll buy a PS4 to bring home…

is Yoshinori Ono going to attend the launch event of the PS4? Is he going to be on stage? That’s quite possible, and the fact that he mentions the PS4 may also be telling.

This week Ono-san teased an Ultra Street Fighter IV related announcement to be dropped next week, so it could be that. There’s even this weird PS4-related teaser floating on the web to support that option.

It could also be about the PlayStation 4 exclusive Deep Down, considering that the game was first showcased at the PlayStation Meeting where the PS4 was first introduced and we still don’t have any firm info on a western version. It could even be both.

We’ll have to wait and see how things unfold, but I’d say it’s almost safe to assume that Ono-san has something PS4-related up his sleeve.

He said they'd shared details on the premieres they'll show on Thursday.

So we won't get gameplay, we'll get told we're going to see gameplay. But those two games, I am sure you're spot on.

Thanks! I think most people didn't know the events would be aired on the Live Events Viewer app. It's still ridiculous that Sony is not launching this app with the PS4.
