I had the most hilarious first thought when I saw this with "WARNING! Challenger approaching!" right below it, before remembering that the latter was still up for Marth.

I'd be all for this, he's got to be my favorite character in the game. I don't know why, but reminds me of the brownies in Willow. Too bad there's no way he'll make it. Sakurai is all about having the main character that gets top billing. We're getting Shulk, unless he finds a way to work the other characters in as maybe a chain attack for a final smash. I suppose there's a skin chance for someone like Reyn if Sakurai doesn't like the idea of another sword user who kind of looks like a blonde Marth in red from a distance.

With the capsules more round, wouldn't it be more difficult to see the difference between it and something like a bomb-omb or poke ball? Seems like a counter intuitive decision.

Oh hey after reading a comment on gfaqs, We've actually seen capsules already, or at least the old one in the developers video.
I KNEW I've seen them before but I wasn't so sure... Interesting that they've redesigned it even though it was shown already lol

Nope. This is another thing that shows that Sakurai recently changed the Capsules.
This was in the Developer Direct. The capsule was unchanged from Brawl except the lighter colours, of course.

Really does show that the game is still in development and things are bound to change, and not just a video that says its "alpha" even though its clearly in beta

That's a valid point, but it could still be potentially a problem on large stages. I hope that Sakurai doesn't do another New Pork City, but it was really tough to see the difference between the Screw Attack Badge and the Franklin Badge on a good number of stages in Brawl.

Capsules should also be in smash balls, poke balls and assist trophies every now and then. Some capsules should contain multiple capsules as well. It should be the Russian nesting doll of items.

I expect that Smash will ignore Of Myth and Monsters again, including the handheld version. The fortress theme in that title is divine. It is a real shame that we probably won't be hearing anything from Pit's Gameboy adventure in this new SSB.

Well thanks to the 3DS eShop Japan now has it for the first time. So there's a bigger chance than before for a reference. (bigger chance, not big chance)

Can the Japanese even handle the awesome beats contained in Of Myths and Monsters?
Yeah, I am hoping that the Virtual Console release in Japan has made it's presence harder to ignore.

I like the new capsules, they look a little like the ones from Dragon Ball.
The new capsules look so small and chubby. I like it. The funny thing is they almost look like a gas tank.

We've seen characters stand on the plane wings before. The markings on the wings allow us to put the sizes in relation.Hey guys, I'm new here and looking to join everyone in the smash hype!
On-topic: It's hard to tell how big / small the new capsules are now. They should of at least put it next to someone! It was probably changed like that so it's easier to see but they look huge to me.
