NA GAF - Post your PS4 shipment info!

Yep I have zero confidence in them getting me the ps4 for Friday. Seems like Future shop or BB was a better option seeing they already begun charging people's cards.
I have one ordered from Amazon and one from Futureshop, ordered back in June. Will cancel one of them the moment the other is shipped. So far no CC charge that I can see though :\ I have very little faith I'll get this on friday.

So based on the Canadian scuttlebutt it seems like I should maybe cancel my Amazon.ca order and stick with my Future Shop online order instead?

Has anyone written to them yet? There's quite a few people who have them ordered in Canada, but no one seems to be getting in on Friday?

That seems really weird for a major console launch.

It would be interesting to see if any users here actually have an estimated date for Friday on amazon.ca, the earliest seems to be Monday.

Here's mine:

My apologies. For some reason I thought over night shipping was Thursday to Friday. But then again, I guess that would only be the case if they shipped it late Thursday. If they prepare it for shipping late Wednesday, and actually ship it Thursday morning, then 2 day shipping it's Friday, correct?

I should know better. Been using Amazon for 5 years now, and have been a Prime member for at least 3. The shipping stuff still confuses my brain.

Yup
Thats pretty much exactly what I was getting at.

A lot of alarmists in this thread. Have you ever ordered anything from Amazon for release day delivery? You probably won't get a "shipped" e-mail until Wednesday night or Thursday morning. It will be on track to be delivered on Friday, just like it has been since you preordered it.

Why are you worried about them not charging your card and shipping on Monday? Why would they do that? They're not mailing you the thing on horseback.

You've seen the pictures of all the PS4s sitting their warehouses, right? You think they're just going to forget about them, or just casually ship them out "whenever"? Amazon knows what they're doing. They know people are expecting them on Friday and the expected delivery date doesn't say November 15 just for the hell of it, it says that because that's when you're going to get the PS4.

People need to calm down.

Yep, feels like a scam since it's a "launch edition" but I've had other thing arrive from amazon long before the estimated date... I'll probably fire their CS an email and see what they say about it

Crap. I was supposed to have Friday off, but now I have to work. I wonder if I should change the shipping address to my parents' house. What happens if they show up to your place and you aren't home? At my folks place, they'll leave the package outside the door, but where I live they usually leave a note saying they tried to deliver the package but no one was home and give a return date.

I doubt it. Amazon.ca is not exactly the bastion of awesomeness like the US one. This is what mine says:

Delivery Estimate: Thursday Nov. 21 2013 - Monday Nov. 25 2013 by 8:00pm

This so much.

If it's a busy day, sometimes they just don't show up at all and they update in the tracking that they did. I've had them flat out lie. I've also caught them running up to the door empty-handed, quietly sticking the note on my door without knocking and trying to run back to the truck.

Why are some of you guys panicking? If Amazon, of all companies, said the 15th, I promise you your PS4 will be there the 15th.

If anybody doesn't, they're probably in the 1%.

I'm personally not panicking. BUT I just think it's the excitement. People can't contain themselves. It's like being a kid on the night before Christmas. It would be easier to just..fall asleep and wake up to your presents. But you know you are going to be rolling around for hours not being able to sleep.

This. This is why I wanted to have Friday off, because they are like ninjas even when you are home.

Injustice is shipping tomorrow and will be here thursday. NFS:Rivals won't be in my hands until after christmas, more than likely won't play it until the new year :(.

KZ:SF is coming with the PS4 on Friday (hopefully sooner) and it's all coming from Amazon.

I said it in another thread I think, but generally for me, amazon doesn't ship stuff until the afternoon of the day before, if it has release date delivery. I've had stuff ship as late as like 11 pm only to have it by noon the next day.

I pre-ordered from Amazon Canada and Sony Canada. Just logged into my Sony account on the site and there's nothing listed in my orders/order history :/ This can't be good.

Killzone & Fifa tomorrow.
Knack Probably Wednesday (was free game from Amazon)
NBA, not sure. Says "We need a little more time to provide you with a good estimate. We'll notify you via e-mail as soon as we have an estimated delivery date."

PS4 Friday

I agree with this to an extent, but it's also worth noting (if you're not already aware): this is CANADIAN Amazon we're talking about. I don't think we even have the concept of "release date shipping" the way Amazon.com does. And while I've gotten Amazon.ca pre-orders on the release date before, I've also had a few cases where the game was several days late. I've even cancelled Amazon.ca pre-orders because I managed to pick the game up elsewhere (or read reviews and changed my mind). The difficulty for me is that most of those games were niche releases, whereas the PS4 is the biggest thing since sliced bread, so I'm inclined to believe you on the whole "overreaction" thing. But I just don't know for sure, and Amazon.ca's track record isn't perfect.

GStop shipped my controller 2 weeks ago and I received that, now just awaiting confirmation on the system to ship.

I've had killzone though the week before Halloween lol, also CoD Ghosts and NBA2K14 are already in my room as well......just waiting on that damn console.

Yep, I just emailed CS at amazon.ca to see if they can clear up the inconsistency between the "Launch" edition and the Estimated Delivery Date.

And if you live near an Amazon warehouse (as I do), you may not see that "Shipped" notice until late Thursday night or even Friday morning.

let us know what they say, I have pre-ordered since June 10 with Amazon.ca, and the estimate delivery is 20th of November, Amazon Canada has to be the biggest joke on earth, they didn't even added the "launch edition" moniker to the order until a couple of months after amazon.com did it.

I am not optimistic about this, I just accepted amazon Canada is going to ship after the 15 and goods will arrive between the 19 and 20 like ALL amazon pre-orders say.

I freaking knew I should have done this with Futureshop, but nope, I told to myself "It's Amazon" well, I brought this on myself, never again.

While Killzone Shadow Fall shipped from Amazon.com for me last Friday, my launch edition is still in a holding pattern. I expect to see movement on Wednesday. I've got two amazon shipping warehouses within 30 miles of my shipping address.. fingers crossed the system leaves from one of those warehouses and arrives on Thursday.

To provide some additional context: Future Shop also shipped my copy of Killzone: Shadow Fall this past Friday. So maybe (MAYBE) it means both FS and Amazon.ca will ship PS4s at roughly the same time.

"Not yet shipped".

Which is the same thing it was last I checked, about 45 seconds ago.

...

...

Yep. Still "Not yet shipped".

Not Yet Shipped from Amazon with a launch day arrival. I have class all morning on Friday & will get home a lil before noon. If UPS can deliver by then, it will make for a good b-day.

I see people doubt Amazon every time a game/system releases and it amazes me. They've never let me down when it comes to launch day delivery, and I really doubt they will Friday.

My games (Assassin's Creed 4, BF4, and Killzone) are all now in "shipping now" status as of this afternoon. The console is still "not yet shipped."

I ordered mine within seconds of the listing going live on Amazon during Sony's press conference, so I'm pretty confident I'll go out with the first wave.

I've ordered through Amazon US before for game pre-orders but never consoles. I'm nervous about this one, but I haven't had a late order yet.

So a little birdie (Twitter!) tells me that PS4 units have begun shipping to consumers in the US from online stores.

With the number of people here that have pre-ordered surely one will get an early shipment. If you have post it here so we can all live vicariously!

You make a thread about posting your shipping info then don't post yours. wtf?

I'm just hoping against hope that BB doesn't screw me. When I pre-ordered an iPhone 5 there, mine was one of the first pre-orders to be placed; I didn't get my phone until a good 3-4 weeks after release. I wasn't impressed.

I've been having better luck since then with pre-orders -- games mainly -- but my faith in them not hosing me on highly sought-after hardware isn't high. I want to be pleasantly surprised though, especially since unlike for the iPhone 5, I'll likely be standing in line Thursday night; and it's freaking cold out at night here now (New Hampshire).

Yeah, it's pretty baffling. I order pretty much everything from Amazon and it's strange to see people who have never had experience with them. Especially if you have Amazon Prime, there's absolute zero reason to worry about not getting it Friday. Especially considering Amazon has deals worked out with UPS to get stuff delivered at exactly the right time (Best Buy, etc don't have that, as far as I've seen).

Amazon has never let me down and if, for some reason, they did, their customer service is great and they always hand out credits/promo codes.

Do you think UPS will require a signature upon delivering a PS4 from Amazon? I can't remember the last time I ordered a big-ticket item from them.
