Vita PSN Game & Service Thread | November 2013 | Tearaway into a new world

Valhalla Knights 3 Gold official site: http://www.maql.co.jp/special/game/vita/vk3g/

That's a pretty shameless logo, lol.
OMGLOL you are right!

I won't buy it but i guess that this image explains its relations with vanilla vk3 so i'm curious. Can someone translate this please?

EDIT:
Oh man top of the page, buy valhalla knights 3 trololol.

you guys must NOT forget Tearaway.. don´t let it disappear in the new Console stuff..

It will get ignored, bad release date+bad pricing+dead genre no one like anymore= fatal combination.

thing is many Vita people want games that on other systems while ignoring the unique games on Vita( yeah I I've ranted enough about this last month).

Doesn't Vita have a super high attach rate? And how does Tearaway have bad pricing?

Ys seven and Ys: Oath of Felghana.

Not sure if it's close to Zelda though.

I'll look at these. Thought these were closer to the Secret of Mana type games?

Gurumin and Tokobot come to mind, well they're more closer to Megaman Legends' playstyle actually, but they're decent action adventure games.

Saw the reviews for Gurumin. Looks decent enough. I'll look at that too.

Did you try Alundra yet?

Alundra for sure

Played Alundra with a friend back in the day. Great game...it was sort of Zelda meets Psychonauts meets Darks Souls.

Don't know about attach rate and I doubt it's true.

as for the pricing $40 is not good (and wasn't handheld games in the first place) game is even cheaper in europe and this can tell you that SCEA is doin it wrong. also many full releases of bigger games go below that nowdays add that to the release of next gen machine and other games.

brainfart... I meant Tearaway OT; not Vita OT. Fixed. lol. :D

cyborg009 is doing the OT for Tearaway iirc.

I wish there was an option to prepay for preorders.just preordered tearaway and I have PS credit applied ready for that game. But now I have to be careful not to buy anything else before payment is taken.

I'm gonna pick it up digitally I think - should be in the region of £20

£19.99 of the UK PSN store

Bad pricing? It's 20 Pounds on EU PSN as a pre-order.

Oh man, that would be awesome. But only if it's a real Igavania again and not the crap we've been seeing the past couple of years.

I don't want to pull a Takao here but... if Iga can make a japanese baseballvania it might be on Vita, other than that Konami showed no interest on Vita especially for the west, hell...twitter Konami PES dude clearly said the Vita userbase is small and don't justified porting.

So apparantly Sony are actually going to bother advertising Tearaway on tv...

Ad looks kinda crappy if you ask me though. It doesn't really give people a good idea about the game. Pretty much the only things the ad mentions are tilting and using the rear touch pad.

It describes Valhalla Knights 3, not relationship with it.

1. "Evil"-themed genuine dark fantasy.
2. 7vs7 jumbled fights between allies and enemies.
3. Chara Make with high degree of freedom.
4. Pleasure Quarter that fills the lust of men.

Didn't realise it was that price in the US - that's bonkers.

I think Vita is probably doing ok though - it's stabilised in JP at like 20-25k and it has some big titles still to come. In the UK that Argos sale drove a few thousand sales as well (my Near has increased from like 5 people to about 50 the past month) - and with remote play demoing really well that can only help.

I have no idea about SCEA and if they're doing anything to drive adoption though - I would've thought BF sales would be the biggest incentive for people to pick one up if they've been on the fence.

I wonder... Is the Sorcery Saga game gonna be any good? How did the importers find the game?

Yah, $20 or so would be much more doable. At this point I'm going to wait for a price drop a bit.

Yeah I know. If they won't even bother creating a good 2D classic Castlavania for the 3DS, we don't have any chance of seeing one for the Vita...
Guess we're stuck with the 3D ones and the shitty 2.5D outsourced one. :(

Uh. what?

Probably the continuation of this kinda thing.

That VitaGAF Secret Santa idea that people were talking about a few pages ago could actually work now that the Amazon PSN Store exists.

Doesn't GameStop sell download codes too? I know I've seen some on the shelves in Canada, and they have them on the U.S. website.

Anyway, if we do a North American secret Santa, I'm definitely in.

I'm depressed that my R3 Dragon's Crown update broke the game and I can't play it anymore.

I also deleted the game (so I lost the save but I think I uploaded it on the cloud) but I can't get download the game on the cloud. :/
