Great to see this. Hopefully my FS order goes out today along with my "out of stock" ACIV, Need for Speed and Killzone. I mentioned this in the Canadian Deals thread, but I think that both BB and FS are using this out of stock notification as a way to get around questions about when items will ship. Also, I wouldn't be surprised if it's a tactic to consolidate the orders and save on shipping. I guess we'll see!
In regards to the "UPS having to sign" debate, I believe that in many cases a signature is "required" but even so, I believe it is still at the discretion of the driver. My UPS drivers delivers multiple Amazon packages to my place every week, so he is used to it. He always just leaves stuff if I don't answer. But I do live in a good neighborhood where we have never had issues with packages getting stolen. I know other people who always have to sign regardless, and they live in not so good neighborhoods, so that could be the reason.

I think I'm going to BB anyways to try and sure up a second. That way I can sell one and keep the money in pocket and put the balance on the BB card. I'm planning on buying all of my games and such at BB that day as well.

Anyone that won a PS4 through Taco Bell have any idea when your recieveing yours? I have yet to get an email with a confirmation number. They told me I would get one through FedEx.

Anyone know what Amazon's policy is for holding items if a charge doesn't go through? I have a check that's clearing tomorrow morning in my bank account and don't have enough in the account right now to cover the full cost. I'm assuming there will be no problem though since they're most likely charging/shipping tomorrow.

I am currently set up with the Launch Day edition PS4 that I preordered in July.
It is set to ship on the 15th, but wont be delivered until around the 22nd. If I upgrade to prime and change it to the 2 day delivery, will that affect my order in any negative way?
Really eager to get it, and waiting an extra week for delivery is going to be so hard to do lol.
I'd be glad to pay more for the faster delivery, just don't want to affect my preorder in a way that would make me get it at a even later date.

People in the amazon uk forum (PS4 section) getting worried about their orders. Almost all ordered after the 6th August cut off point for release day though.

Yep, if you check a page or two back, you will see my post with the Fedex confirmation (note: you don't actually get tracking, but if you sign up for the free FedEx Delivery Manager service, you can see all packages that are coming to your address).
If you don't want to bother with all that, you can rest easy knowing that everyone who HAS checked has their PS4 delivery date as tomorrow, the 13th. However, it does require a signature. I believe it will be delivered before noon tomorrow, as they are being shipped Priority Overnight, which not only guarantees a next day delivery, but a delivery in the morning as well.
Same boat. Frustrating to see others ship.

It's probably because you live closer to a shipment center? So they will ship it tomorrow or thursday to make sure it doesn't get to you early?

I'm in NYC and my PS4 shipped this afternoon.

From my experience with Amazon, it probably won't ship until Thursday even with 2-day shipping. You'll still get it Friday though.
Heck just yesterday my Killzone shipped under 2-day shipping but it's out for delivery today.

I've had release date delivery stuff from Amazon not show as shipped until ten PM the night before release, so I'm nowhere near concerned yet. They've actually paid to overnight things instead of shipping two day a day earlier, possibly because I'm near Seattle and two day could show up early.

Yeah people need to relax. Again: AMAZON does NOT ship until the day before if it's 2-day shipping. That means most people will have their PS4 shipped on Thursday.
Only panic if it's late Thursday night and nothing changes.
