Vita PSN Game & Service Thread | November 2013 | Tearaway into a new world

Man I dunno if I want to get DJ Max @ $20, not to mention I suck ass at rhythm games unless they're the slow variety =_=
 
one more thing, could anyone link me to some useful vita threads here? I don't wanna start another "yo gaf I bought a Vita what should I DO??"-thread once I get it ;)

I mean if there's any besides the ones linked in OP already of course

Mmmm... I like it.

I could perfectly (and happily) survive if the PSVita becomes my (localized) Japanese games machine. Though I'd like some other cool things like Tearaway too (can i use "though" at the beginning of a sentence ? I've been wondering about it for a while xD)

To be honest i'm tired of the Amano boxarts and imo they become worse each time.
I hope that if type 0 will ever be localized the back of the japanese limited edition will be the boxart.

gameplay is a bit lacking but the story, audio & text are all verrryyyy good. a spoiler free faq helps streamline the experience, too.

it's a top down adventure game that controls like a 16 bit jrpg sans battles.
 
Can't say for sure, but according to this support page from Sony, you can have UP to 2 active systems -
As of November 18, 2011, number of systems for activation is:

For Game Content - Two (2) PS3 and/or portable systems

For Video Content - One (1) PS3 and up to Three (3) portable systems

If you exceed this amount, you will need to deactivate a system before the new one can be used to download content. You must also have the system with you in order to activate or deactivate it.

The Vita games are Sonic Racing and Liberty City Stories
From the comments in the blog post, it seems to be confirmed, GR and UC:A will not be replaced.
Regarding the PS Vita titles, Gravity Rush and Uncharted will remain in the service for the foreseeable future.

So, I just started playing SIne Mora and it's pretty fun

But...do you have to pretty much be perfect to get anything above a Grade E?
Getting a 90% hit ratio with 22 penalties and no continues gets me a Grade E...:(

Kinda disappointing, actually. ;/ With US getting Oddworld and Soul Sacrifice (!!!), I expected something similar. And delaying the evergreen titles again (they had to be replaced in the summer, pushed back to November, and now for the "foreseeable future") was a bumber... At least we will get Guacamelee as cross buy.

Hey man SART is a good and fun racer, you'll be spending a long time on the Single player campaign mode before you realize you were still in the john.

Has the Sonic Kart game a good online mode? It was in my "may buy" list so I'm happy we are getting it next month. If it's half as fun as Mario Kart Wii, it won't leave my memory card in a while... and I'd like to have some matches with VitaGAF too :)

I'm not really into the racers genre... I would prefer another PSP game to a racer every day. ^^ And now that I think about it - Dissidia 012 for the Vita will be really cool. But I don't think it's available in the EU PSN at all... Well then - P3P plz. :D Playing it on dat OLED will be lovely.

Online should be good, at least it was from what little I played some time ago...
If you do a search for 'LTTP' and this game, you'll see that just about EVERYONE that played the PC/Console ver. says its better than Mario Kart.

What I will tell you at least, is that it was my GotY 2012 on PS3. As is I've Triple dipped getting PS3, Vita AND Steam versions all Day 1.

While the game has a colorful and compitent presentation, it also boasts one of the best soundtracks in a racing game.
I ask only of 2GBs of your glorious Vita, and on a relaxing day, one were the worries of the world matters not, you give this game your time, with headphones in your ears to listen to its glorious soundtrack.
Should its magnificent pumping soundtrack, and fast paced yet balanced gameplay still not appeal to you...well you'd still be a man with respectable good taste in non-racing video games.
 
Not sure if this was already posted but the PS+ titles for December were just announced on the Playstation Facebook page:

GRID (PS3), Guacamelee! (Crossbuy, PS3 & PS Vita), Sonic and All-Stars Racing Transformed (PS Vita) and Grand Theft Auto Liberty City Stories (PS Vita)
 
How does LCS controls with the Vita? Can I locate aiming in the second stick?

BTW, I'm downloading Path of Exile. Is someone on VitaGAF playing it? I want an isometric RPG and people say it's pretty damn good for a F2P title.

Yes.

Note that PSP and Vita are counted together as a single platform. So it's 2 PS3s, 2 of either PSP and/or Vita, and 1 PS4.

The PS4 works differently than the other platforms, you can have only one activated to your account, but you can access your content on any other PS4 by logging into your account (ie. it's pretty much exactly how the Xbox 360 works).
