NA GAF - Post your PS4 shipment info!

Still no movement on my Amazon pre-order that was made 2 minutes after they became available on June 10th. Status: "Not Yet Shipped"

I had to pay $40 more - California!

In any case, I've received KZ and BF4. Should be getting AC4 today.

I'm guessing the PS4s are going to go out today, possibly even tomorrow.
 
I live 20 minutes from an Amazon Shipping Center, so I guess I shouldn't expect the status to change util tonight or tomorrow. When I buy something, I usually get it next day regardless of what I check for S&H.

Edited yo: The further you live from an Amazon Distribution center, the earlier it ships. Keep that in mind kids. I usually get release day stuff shipped out the day before it due to me. aight.

Yo, I thought everybody would know this. It goes by shipping zones. If you're in an area where it only takes one day to ship to your location then they obviously won't send your package out two days ahead of estimated arrival time.

Yeah. Whenever I preorder something from amazon they pretty much always ship it the day before with next day shipping. This is with prime delivery.
 
No change on my order yet and I have prime. I ordered while the Sony E3 conference was still going. I assume its because I live 10 minutes from a fulfillment center and UPS hub.

This is likely. I order stuff using Amazon Prime all the time with free 2 day shipping and I'll get it in 1 day. They're making sure this doesn't happen unfortunately.

Yes, Amazon does a ton of behind the scenes logistics work before they hand the package off to a delivery service. One of the reasons they are so successful is that they're so good at logistics. They poached a ton of talent from Walmart back in the day.

You are not far from me. I am in West Chester, PA. There is a giant distribution center in Allentown. Even if they ship yours tomorrow you will still get it on Friday.
 
Sometimes Amazon ships stuff out the day before, especially with items that have a hard release date. I've had it happen before. I wouldn't worry unless you don't see it ship by tomorrow afternoon.
 
ah snap! My ps4 is being prepped for shipment along with my copy of battlefield 4 (I ordered mine on august 27th)


Curiously though, my copy of NFS Rivals still seems in limbo..
 
Ah Amazon had recently built a couple distribution centers in Cali, so that makes sense it's not ready to ship to my parent's in Pasadena. Doesn't matter really since I won't be seeing them until early December. :( Still want to join the shipping hype!

Thanks for the info, but if it will shipped later, there will be no problem as I am living in Europe, to be honest, so it will take extra 2-3 weeks for transferring it to Ukraine.
 
We are fortunate enough to have an Amazon distribution center here in Lexington, KY. Hopefully there will be no issues with shipping.

Still says Not Yet Shipped for mine and that it is scheduled for delivery on the 15th by 8p -- I'm hopeful.

see. my credit card has a limit right of 200$ that can be withdrawn from the account

however, i paid for the PS4 in full using gift cards already.

my question what will happen tomorrow when amazon want to charge me, will they go through the credit card, see the balance isn't enough, and cancel my pre order even though its paid with gift cards ?

I can't speak from experience or personal knowledge, but I don't see why they would attempt to charge your card if it's already paid off.

Wow, is there really? I'm only about a half hour away from Allentown. Had no idea.
 
My launch edition just changed to Preparing for Shipment, I am in Southern California, ordered June, 10. Prime, still shows delivery as 15th. It's coming!!

No PS4 for me this weekend. BestBuy shipped last night and Canada Post is listing a Monday delivery... I cancelled my June 10th Amazon.ca this morning, what a bunch of fuck-wits, some day I hope we get parity with the US store.

If nothing has changed since 2006 (Wii) then you should be fine.

I did this exact same thing and had no activity on my card because the Wii was already paid off.

Amazon will apply any credits/gift cert before attempting to charge a card. If there's no balance remaining, no charge.
