Just got my first ps vita in from radioshack. The fedex box was closed but the ps vita blue box tags were open. Like the stickers weren't closed, hopefully this isn't a used or defective one. Its charging up currently. Is it suppose to be dead and needs a charge before using it.

Happy to get Guacamelee, but between it having been spoiled by that leak, the rest of the December lineup not particularly impressive (two games per console again, don't have a PS4, one of the Vita games is a PSP one, two of the other games for systems I own are racing games) and, let's be frank, mad jealousy at that US Soul Sacrifice, I'm not exactly ecstatic.
Oh, and not getting new yearly games sucks too. I hope this doesn't become the start of a trend of EU PS+ getting the US PS+ treatment.

I'm glad to see a bunch of other folks jumping in because of that deal, too. I dunno, what you describe would concern me too. Personally, I just went to a Best Buy brick and mortar and they price matched the Radio Shack online deal.
Looking through my download list and finding games I tagged in PS+ without really thinking about, stuff I bought with crossbuy without ever caring before, and stuff I've had on PSP and PS1 that I forgot I could play on this thing, last night felt like finding buried treasure.
Glad there was a good deal before Tearaway, really hoping that ends up being good.

theres been some whispers of impressions in this thread that it's incredible...so heres to hoping!!
the motion controls for flower don't seem to really work for me. it's definitely accurate, possibly more than the dualshock 3 was, but the screen being attached to the controller makes it annoying. you're twisting the vita to control the game, but that often positions the screen so that it is more difficult to see.
i tried the touch controls for a bit and they actually worked pretty good. they really should patch in stick controls though.

I really hope they sell the Soundtrack somewhere. Went with the other preorder pack because of the LBP costumes but Media Molecule Soundtracks are the best.

thats what i was thinking - i was nervous about keeping it optimized for performance, but I think there's some wiggle room, same with the pixel quality
I can't believe i was so hesitant to buy a Vita, it's the best thing i've bought in ages. It's made me fall back in love with gaming, just in time for the PS4.
I also can't believe i never played Jak and Daxter before, it's so fun. Which is the generally considered the best in the HD collection? I can tell the first is pretty old, but i'm playing through them in order.

Now that I checked, I have it on my downloading list as well, but when I try to download it it says: "Could not download. The payment process for the pre order is not complete. Please try again alter if your wallet does not have enough funds add funds to your wallet NP-14246-7" I did pre-order it from the EU store few days ago, plus I have enough funds in the wallet. Any ideas?-

Apparantly the DL doesn't work yet. I didn't even notice until I looked at my Vita a few minutes later and saw that it didn't even start downloading.
It says that date for predownload is 19th.

Yeah, but you guys got Revengeance on PS3 + and we didn't, so it all balances out.
I'd rather have Soul Sacrifice though. That is a primo bonus for Vita + users.
Just format it on your current vita. Although it doesn't matter either way even if you leave it on because once they insert it into their vita it'll force them to format it anyways if they don't have your PSN credentials
Perform a backup of your memory card through Content Manager, then format your memory card.
Worst case scenario if it's still somehow tied to your account, the next owner will need to format it again to use it anyway.

Watching it on my Vita, it looks pretty good. I'd say it looks better than DoA5+ (out of fighting games), but in general it also looks better than Assassin's Creed: Liberation. My biggest issue with the graphics is that they look washed out.

I dont see why It wouldn't be a simultaneous release, it's already been localized I've had it on the 360 with the steins gate DLC since march. Game is a lot of fun.
A particularly good day for me in Rayman Legends. I'm up for two diamond trophies, atm, in the only challenge type that I know how to play well enough to get diamonds in (the infinite tower ones). God I hope no one drops me from my spots. That would shave 5 days worth of Gold trophied challenges (what I'm mostly capable of in other types of challenges) from my long journey to Awesomeness level 11. Once the Invasion levels are hopefully patched in & I get all the trophies from them (I read someone say they might come during November?), that means I have less than a 1000 points to go until lvl 11, which is about 40+ days if I get gold from every challenge going forward (a bit less if I get the occasional diamond like so far).
Man I'm obsessed about this game. At first I didn't even want to bother trying to get the platinum trophy, but then I played the challenges for a couple of weeks and now it feels it would have been a huge waste if I don't go all the way through. I don't really play any other games atm because all of my (short-ish) game time goes to Rayman Legends.

Rayman for me is what Atoi is to corrosivefrost. I'd like to get into it but just can't stand the aesthetic.
Thought that was supposed to be a 15-20 minute thing? I've been getting rolling 504 errors for hours.
You can't stand the most beautiful 2d platformer artstyle ever? Granted, Rayman & friends themselves are goofy-looking, but the environmental art is pretty much the best ever.

You don't have to save the picture by rightclicking. "save url" is differnt from "save picture", it just copy the url, so you don't even have to open a new tab.
