NA GAF - Post your PS4 shipment info!

If you're not familiar with Amazon's shipping process, don't panic if others' go into the shipping process before yours. It is highly dependent on location and usually timed to take that into account.

I feel for the agents having to answer calls of "why hasn't mine gone into shipment yet?!"

I get the feeling more of us are impatient than concerned (we want that toy, yo), though some definitely fall into a little column A, a little column B.

It is probably a workload thing. Those orders take longer to get together so they are doing them first in order to make sure they are running down to the last minute packing them. Those of us with the launch editions are as easily packed as putting a box in a box and loading it up.

This and I would also guess that the bundles are also more money on the line for Amazon. So putting their priorities were the $$$ is possible.
 
My Killzone went from "Preparing for Shipment" yesterday to "Out for Delivery" today, lol.

PS4 is preparing now.

Gotta do that UPS hold!
 
Mine just changed to Shipping Now.

So I'm assuming the priority of shipping based on this thread appears to be bundles first, right? If so how does prime affect that then?

Is it prime + launch day bundle > prime + launch day > no prime + bundle > no prime + launch day?

Anyone in So Cal have their Launch Day Edition changed yet? Ordered 4 min after E3 (June 10th) and I still haven't seen a change.

Ann Arbor area here, preordered 6/10, also not yet shipped. I'm not worried, though, as I've seen a lot of preorder stuff not get shipped out until 10 PM or so and I haven't had any issues with release day shipping.
 
Everything I'm seeing in this thread makes it sound like they're shipping in the order opposite of how they were pre-ordered. I doubt that's true but sheesh.
 
I ordered from Sony.com, got an email saying it would arrive before or on Launch day. Just called, they are shipping friday Standard Shipping -_- Next Friday is my guess. I even cancelled my amazon b2g1 because I didn't think the games would get here on time.

One person above from LA had theirs change to shipped. So Cal here and I see nothing as well. My card issue should be resolved now, so I hope Amazon can charge it without any issues and it ships today.
 
In So Cal had have a launch edition per ordered. Had Amazon bill me this morning and promptly change my estimated arrival date to Tuesday. Sent them a....strongly worded email. We will see what their response is.

Not really worth paying for shipping to have it here on launch and then not get it that day.

Yeah I'm in the exact same boat. Va outside of DC. I wish they'd just hurry up! The longer they wait, the more likely I am to get Lasership, and I'd much rather get it by UPS
 
The order I placed on the 11th of June and paid fully by gift cards is preparing to ship.

The order placed on the 10th, paid by credit card, still hasn't changed.

Oh man, I almost shit a brick. I went to check my credit card I put the PS4 on (which has a really low limit) and it said I only had $300 in available funds. It took me about 10 minutes to figure out that that Amazon put in an authorization for the whole charge and the company counts that against your available credit.

Yeah... I'm north of Houston and I've had release day stuff from Amazon get shipped the day before and make it, but I'll still be in a
completely unreasonable
panic until it says it's shipped
but really until it's in my hands

They have to deliver on the specified date per the purchase agreement but they also don't want to deliver them early. Unless there's an error on their end, they aren't going to ship them to a consumer any earlier than necessary to have them arrive on Friday from wherever the distribution warehouse is.

Mine from Amazon says "preparing for shipping." Almost everything I've bought from Amazon comes from a Southern California warehouse, so I wouldn't expect it to be shipped earlier than today or even tomorrow.

I live near an Amazon warehouse, and don't expect to see any movement until Thursday at the earliest... Unless Amazon is shipping early!! :O
 
My FutureShop order is still "In Progress"

Money was taken on Monday. That said, I live in Brampton, Ontario (just outside of Toronto) so its possible mine won't ship till tomorrow. Doesn't have far to go, I'd imagine.

i just called. Ordered on june 10 seconds after preorders when live. status is at not yet shipped. estimated delivery date is friday november 15. they assured me that i was guaranteed to get it on that date. the rep said i might not even see it change until tomorrow so now the waiting game. Im in Queens NY btw.

I'm Prime and from So Cal as well. I love how people ordered their PS4 first day, and those that ordered months after got their orders processed first. I assumed it was just those further away from distribution centers, so they needed to be processed first. But now there are people in my area that got their shipment status updated.

At the end of the day, this is all mental. Everyone SHOULD get their PS4 at the same time. So who gets processed first is pointless to care about. But it would sure be a relief to know it's being shipped, and just not worry for the next 2 days.
 
Amazon finally charged my card and now my PS4 says Shipping Soon. Still nothing on my games. Would suck if I got the console and no games.
 
I've been Amazon Prime for years now. I have no new info but I'm not really worried. I know there's a distribution center in my city and there have been plenty of times where my "two day" shipping was actually overnight, just sent a day late.

Plus Amazon ships UPS. They're usually really good about delivery dates.

I just got a notification from my bank that my card was charged so I went to check if the status changed. No email from Amazon.
