He then tells me its now active and my shipment changed to Tuesday the 19th. He's contacting a specialist for me right now.

I'm actually in College Station, a few hours south of you. Not that it should make any difference, though. My Assassin's Creed shipped from Dallas, two-day, and it arrived in less than 24 hours. I was kind of hoping the system would ship the same way, but I guess not. Oh well.

Well we have the Amazon distribution center right in Coppell, basically the heart of DFW, that's suppose to be 1 million square feet. I'm pretty sure large shipments (quantity) come out of there, so there is bound to be PS4's. It would explain why everyone in Texas who isn't located in DFW, (with a few exceptions), are getting their shipments sent out already.

I'm just hoping they ship from WA. I would presume with a launch this big that'd be the case, but I know with some more niche titles I had pre-ordered (Tales of Xillia was one), they would ship from AZ, to WA, and then take another day to get to Eugene or Salem. Kinda annoying. Hoping that isn't the case with the system launch.

Still hasn't shipped yet. Expected delivery is still Nov. 15 by 8 p.m., but I have to work and I'm convinced I'm fucked because I won't be home. Can't change shipping address either because I lose the bonus free shipping. Not yet. Historically, Amazon usually posts a shipment notification the day before it arrives, so I'm expecting one sometime tomorrow.
