NA GAF - Post your PS4 shipment info!

I pre ordered on Amazon on June 10th and I'm from Philadelphia.

My order is still "not shipped yet" so I chatted with a CSR earlier.

Just now I received a follow up email which reads

"Hello,

I can confirm that we still expect to ship your order in time to be delivered to you by Guaranteed Delivery Date: Friday, November 15, 2013

We'll send you an e-mail when your order is shipped with your tracking number. Your order could ship any time between now and right before the guaranteed delivery date.

When you choose One-Day or Two-Day delivery, we factor in days when express pick up and delivery is not available in your area to provide you with an estimated delivery date.

The One-Day or Two-Day delivery option you choose may not directly correspond with the carrier-branded shipping service used to deliver your package. We use your desire for a specific delivery date along with our knowledge of carrier capabilities (acquired through sending millions of shipments) to select the most appropriate and efficient shipping service available for your order.

Central IL, both the PS4 Launch Bundle w/ Battlefield 4 and Skylanders Swap Force just went to Preparing for Shipment at around Midnight CST.
 
FYI if you ordered a bundle from Amazon that included a year of PS+, it comes in the form of a code that you'll get in an email from Amazon, so watch out for it.

Mine shipped from Nevada....I live in the So Cal area, My work place doubles as a major UPS hub... I've gotten items from Vegas overnight before. DARE I DREAM?
 
I'm in Phoenix and they are shipping a lot of them from here so mine will probably be express fed livery on Friday. I ain't even worried.

Same, still hasn't shipped but I've received things in the afternoon that I've ordered in the morning before, so I have faith. Unfortunately I don't have faith with my b2g1 order. Looks like I won't be playing anything except black flag until Monday (I'll survive)

You don't understand how bad UPS and Fed Ex are in the South, man. If they're running late, sometimes they won't even try to deliver and they'll just lie about it and say the note must have blown away.

How is that Amazon's fault?

Amazon has never missed a release date delivery for me so even though 2 of my PS4s are showing not yet shipped, I'm not worried at all. Usually get notification of shipment the day before, so I expect I'll get an update later tonight or tomorrow morning.
 
Just had to talk to support because it being so late and my console still having not shipped. The chances of my console being here on Friday were getting slimmer by the moment.

Ends up something went wrong when they went to use my card for payment. And without any type of warning or information as to why they let it sit there. The support specialist ran my card again and it went through without a problem. But now my system has an estimated arrival time of the 19th (Tuesday) instead of the 15th which had been the estimated delivery date since E3.

I've checked and noticed that the only way to get the console here on Friday or at least estimated delivery of it on Friday is by paying another $11 for One day shipping. This is seriously fucked up. If they had gave me any kind of notice as to the card not working when they attempted to run it I could have resolved this much earlier and probably kept the original date. Now i'm going to have to try and see what I can have done to fix this because i'm still paying for two-day shipping but receiving the console in 4 shipping dates.

Does anyone have any experience in resolving something like this?

You should talk to their support again and push them a bit harder, make it clear that it was there fault and ask for an upgrade to overnight shipping. They'll usually do it for free.

These delivery companies don't listen to dissatisfied receiver-customers, but they'd listen to Amazon. If the service is Next-Day, sometimes the service is even worse.

I'm lucky - I moved back at least further North (Savannah was without a doubt the worst place I've ever lived in my life in pretty much every way including this). I had a GREAT UPS guy in Salem, I think I even called in to tell the company how great he was - and I live in a rented house now so drivers will leave packages on the porch - so I haven been screwed yet here.

But I've been waiting for this thing since June 10th and I don't want it to miss its delivery date. I'm probably being a little crazy....

Thanks for the info! I'm in Philadelphia as well and have been stressed out by the "has not shipped" status.
 
I feel like the majority of us will wake up tomorrow with shipped and next day delivery lol. Mine still hasn't changed. I used amazon's store card so there shouldn't be any problems.
 
Still not shipped yet one mine ordered on June 10th. Was hoping amazon would do me a solid and ship it earlier since it has to go overseas to "southwest asia" (APO address). Oh well even if they ship it a day later I should get it by the 22nd which is what i expected since it always takes a week to get something over here from amazon.

It's just really odd how they gave me no type of notice to the issue. And then on top of that it being resolved so simple by me providing the support guy with the last 4 digits of my card that were already provided in the payment form.

This is going to be a huge bummer if I can't get it by Friday. Especially having paid for two-day shipping and then having to wait 4 extra days.

For anyone who has experience putting a UPS delivery on hold to be picked up at a UPS location, does the tracking continue to be updated? Or do you at least get a final update/alert when it's at the location?

I've had this problem with Amazon before, I signed up for a student Prime membership (free for 6 months) on a school email, after 6 months it expired and that was that. I did it again this year with a different email, and after 6 months instead of expiring it wanted to upgrade to the $40 prime package (despite expecting it to expire like the other one). Only when it tried to upgrade I had no money in my account. When I finally got some about a week later, I noticed $40 was missing immediately, from Amazon. Checked around and eventually discovered I had Prime Instant Video, which could only be through a paid Prime sub, which is $40. Amazon sent me NO email or notification that they were auto-renewing my free membership to $40 paid membership, that they tried to charge my card and it failed for a week straight, and that they eventually did charge me and renew the subscription. I would've gone months without knowing I had paid Prime if I hadn't been actively looking for where the money went.

Hope you get your situation resolved man, and I hope that's not what happened to me (still Not Yet Shipped here too). But I see people getting shipping notifications even this late, so I imagine they'll be processing this stuff all night and some tomorrow, so I'm not worried...yet.

After talking to another support specialist he upgraded me to one day shipping free of charge.

I did ask if they have a system of informing customers about issues like payment not going through as mine did and he informed me in the case of pre-orded products they wait until the products release to inform the customers. Which is really ass backwards, I changed my payment method on Friday giving them plenty of time to e-mail me throughout the week about payment issues.

And if I had gotten notified I could have dealt with this earlier in the week. But nothing was sent to me because of their policy and had I not went searching for answers myself I would have been figuring this all out on Friday and having my PS4 probably next Wednesday.

Same thing happened to me with Prime. But I did end up going back and viewing the terms and it seems that it automatically renews the account for you if you don't change an option which is fairly hidden. I usually never have issues with Amazon and this is a rare occurrence for me. Luckily I was able to resolve it, hope all of you who haven't had their consoles ship can get it in time as well.
 
Live in Oregon; Usually get shipments from Nevada that get here in one day so I'm not sweating it yet... but it'd be nice if you'd hurry up, Amazon, and get the ball rolling.

Based. This was placed on June 12th and, after a few days, lost the "Launch Edition" suffix in my open orders, so this may indicate that preorders are being filled beyond the original launch day numbers. Or it could just be a system error, though I never changed my shipping or billing options.
