NA GAF - Post your PS4 shipment info!

Mine shipped from Amazon this morning for delivery tomorrow in Atlanta. Ordered June 10th.

And for the record, I changed my payment options yesterday on the site. No problems.

Whenever I deal with Lasership guys (I'm a doorman) its never for anything that is "sizable". Typically its small stuff like games, blu-rays, books..etc. I can't recall the last time I received anything from those guys that wasn't pretty small. They also have wacky hours. I've gotten stuff from them as late as 10pm!



...in any case my order is in "Shipping Now" status and if they use Lasership I will flip! The UPS guy I deal with is solid so I know it'll be no problem with him.
 
Order date SHOULD matter, for fuck's sake. People who ordered immediately should really be getting their PS4s shipped first - or at least they should have shipped by now. SMH....this is the worst they've ever been on anything for me - and this is the order that's probably been most important to me.

And to think I went with Amazon because I didn't want to get fucked over by GameStop.
 
When your stuff went from preparing to shipped, did you get an email? I'm just wondering if I need to keep refreshing the page (not that there's any reason in the first place).

Status on Amazon has changed this morning to "Shipping Now".

My brother, who lives in Akron, has a status of "Shipping Soon".

Your proximity to the distribution center effects it more than anything. I mean, come on, we're talking about someone scanning a box here.

Thats ridiculous i understand shipping it earlier for people becasue i live somewhat close to it but for others to actually receive it early who ordered later is annoying. Are you a prime member by any chance? If i dont get it on Friday i will really be upset and complain to them.

Now im thinking i should have gone gamestop but their history of giving away pre-orders and plain not having enough stopped me.

Huh?

Amazon knows how long it takes to get a package to your door. They are that on top of things. They guaranteed you delivery on 11/15. If you don't get it on the 15th, cry foul, but untl then chill.

You probably live near a distribution center or a UPS hub that affords them the ability to ship with "2 day" and have it arrive in 1 day. That's the boat I'm in. It's really not a big deal.
 
Woke up this morning. Checked UPS.

"What? My PS4 is still in a warehouse in Kansas? It'll never get here on time!"

Searched for town in Kansas on Google Maps.

"Oh. I'm only 8 hours away from Kansas?"

There's always seemed to be a small delay with the emails being sent after it changes to shipped.

I ordered from Walmart.com. It might be they shipped it out early for everyone. But when I pre-ordered it, they said it would arrive on the 18th, so I'm quite surprised that it's coming today.

Hoping that they have a distribution center close by. If nothing else they'll probably be doing next day air.

EDIT: I am now preparing for shipment, this just happened in the last hour.

Still won't feel secure until I have it. Paranoia sinks in that some delivery guy will see it, call it their "precious" and run away.

Yup same for me... They charged my CC on monday but still nothing on the website. I'm so fucking pissed. Doesn't help that Sony released the console on a friday so if it doesn't come on launch day then you are screwed and can't do anything until the next week.
 
I got an email from amazon saying mine was going to be shipped on launch day. Not sure if they're following up from a previous email exchange where I whined about the lack of launch day delivery, but nevertheless. Still going to try to find one in stores Fri morning.

I received a voicemail, from my in-store pick-up BB, stating I can pick-up my system at midnight or it will also be held for eight days. I just have to present the confirmation e-mail at time of pick-up. I'm still waiting for that e-mail. (come on, come on)

Edit: I finally received my pick-up e-mail. Let's do this!
 
Mine shipped yesterday and i got my tracking number, but no status updates on it at all, and it says it was shipped ups ground.........im hoping thats because i live really close to an amazon dc.

They had no problem getting Killzone and Ass Flag here WAY before now. Those both weren't supposed to be released until Friday either. So what's the hold-up on the damned console? Is it because they're in a crunch to ship everything at the same time? Wow, gee, maybe that could be avoided by shipping the earlier orders earlier?
