Im 2 hours away from orlando I still havent seen any tracking number

Mines been stuck at shipping now for almost 20 hours and I'm hoping it just hasn't updated..for all I know it could be getting delivered today...

Just so your aware this has happened to me with UPS with items coming from amazon several times. Sometimes it stops updating randomly during the UPS route and just shows up and sometimes I don't even get tracking info. I'm a prime member too so its strange.

Fuck yeah! Amazon shipped it through UPS and not lasership

Ny incase anyone else there is waiting, coming from pennsylvania

Same. Although only Knack Bundle shipped so far. My PS4 from June 10 is still preparing.

I've been in "preparing" purgatory since I woke up this morning

Still says it's on track to arrive tomorrow

central NJ

i just called them and they are guaranteeing that i get it tomorrow even tho its shipping today. they even sent me an email to confirm it. im assuming they will be doing a bunch of overnights. Amazon is really good when it comes to delivering on time or early

Oh I know we'll get it Friday. I'm just being silly, because some got their systems delivered today (a day early). A lot of Amazon's shipping didn't make sense this time around. For instance, bundles that were ordered a month after Launch Day edition got shipped earlier. And even locations were inconsistent. So people from the same area would get their unit shipped at different times.

I wish Amazon would have shipped according to the purchase date and not whatever system they have. Normally I understand if it's based on location. But clearly that wasn't the case here. There are people getting their units today. Just seems unfair.

I'm being totally petty I know. As I said earlier in this thread, it's totally a mental thing. But it would be like getting in line first and waiting, and then seeing people cut or get in before you because they knew employees. It feels bad. On the other hand, the reality is that we didn't have to do shit. We clicked ORDER digitally on a website, and have been able to sit back at the leisure of our homes. No reason to be upset. But can't help but still feel a tad bit salty at Amazon.

Holy shit! Mine might be waiting for me at home:

Delivered on: Tuesday, November 12, 2013
Thanks for shopping at Amazon.
Your package was delivered
The delivery receipt was signed by U.S. Postal Service Delivered

They shipped it FedEx, either it's at my house or they delivered it to the USPS for delivery tomorrow.

I'm in Massachusetts, by the way.

My order has been "ready for ups" for 17 hours now. Wonder if it's a bad tracking number seeing how people who are getting it from phoenix, AZ to CA already have some tracking information.

Amazon has said shipped since last night, ups is still saying "A UPS shipping label has been created. Once the shipment arrives at our facility, the tracking status--including the scheduled delivery date--will be updated."

To those that still have "preparing for shipment", Amazon will no doubt do over night shipping for you guys. In the end, it doesn't matter what shipping they use, they will get it to you by Friday. I would only 100% be worried if it's late tonight and you still haven't had a single status change.

Yep, mine shipped 8pm PST and the tracking page still hasn't update. It's just been sitting at the sorting facility. I have a feeling they will sit on it all day, then ship it tonight via Air (It's next Day Air saver).

I know the feels bro (same boat)

#TeamPreparingForShippingToArriveTomorrow

FYI- I got the email from Amazon this morning (11/14) at 1:30 am saying it was shipped. But on the tracking page on Amazon it left the seller facility at 6:42 am on 11/10.

It seems like the email notifications are a little behind the actual shipments.

Been "shipping now" all morning, no tracking number or email or anything yet.

It's being shipped to Manhattan, though, and I'm pretty sure they have a location very close, so I'm not too worried.

Yeah same here. I think it will be fine, If I dont get it tomorrow though Amazon CS is going to be hearing from me for sure.I spent about $1500 on Amazon this week including the PS4 and preordered it precisely when it was available. There is no reason they shouldnt have this ready.

Mine shipped yesterday via UPS Ground...

Mighty unnecessary risk to take, Amazon! Luckily It's being shipped to my office so I should know by around 11am whether I'll have it (already delivered) or I'll have to murder someone on my lunch break.

You're most likely right, it's the sitting in the dark part that sucks and getting everyone worried.

My shipping info on ups hasnt updated since it shipped yesterday :(. I know I'm near an amazon warehouse, it should arrive today unless they hold it back till tomorrow.

Our PS4s probably on the same plane dude. Bet this won't leave till tonight. SMH.

Oh yes, I totally understand/agree. As someone that has been irked by Amazon, I totally understand it. It's just a piece of mind thing. You can't relax until you know it's actually been shipped (because mistakes can happen). I get it. It feels even worse when you see everyone else have their unit shipped (and in a lot of cases, they ordered way later after you). Amazon's system for shipping has been frustrating.

Same for me. Shipped 12:45 am PHX, AZ to Los Angeles, CA.

Same. Been stuck at shipping now for about 4 hours, I'm getting it shipped to Chicago.

Uhhh so Amazon supposedly shipped my package yesterday. I contacted UPS because my tracking hasn't updated other than saying that Amazon shipped it. UPS said this:

Guess it's time to contact Amazon...

So quoting this, because I think there are many others in the same boat (including me). So I talked to Amazon about this. But basically long story short, normally UPS related packages go from Amazon warehouse to close by UPS hub, then transited over to the recipient's closest UPS hub, then delivered locally. But in the case of the PS4s they are skipping the initial step of going to a UPS hub closest to the amazon warehouse, and straight into transit from Amazon's warehouse, hence the packages haven't been checked into UPS system yet.

In this case the initial step is being skipped and straight into transit because its not necessary since the entire truck is full of the same commodity (PS4s) and going to a specific regions UPS hub. It would be completely unnecessary to go to a local UPS hub from Amazon, since there is no sorting of packages needed. So when the truck reaches your local UPS hub, that is where it will be likely checked in and updated in UPS's system. Also because these are for release day guarantees as well as the logistics involved in such a huge quantity, any steps that can be skipped to guarantee release day delivery will likely have been taken. Hopefully this help others in the same situation.

FYI, I'm in the Bay Area with a KZSF launch day bundle.

Edit: "Shipped" status for me.

Anyone ship who used gift cards?

Yeah mine shipped to So Cal yesterday at 8pm. I paid off my order with a gift card. Although there were a ton of people that were in my same location, that got their order shipped ahead of me (even though I ordered 4 min after it went up on Day One).

There doesn't seem to be a rhyme or reason to this. Location/Time of Purchase/ Gift Card vs. Credit Card. It all seems random to me.

So that's why mine has been at shipping now for about 20 hours?

RVA, still "Preparing for Shipment", though i did notice my card has been charged for the cost of the system + $29.56 in tax... stupid new Virginia online tax law. Gone is the tax free joy of Amazon.
